    I agree with both of you. The new highest rated behavior is useful, but only if people can discover good tracks outside of that feed so that the selection of tracks can get shaken up. There should be tiers of track popularity. Every track winds up in the new feed, some tracks are voted into highest rated 48hrs, and some of those wind up being popular enough to make it into highest rated this week. It allows mobility without requiring as many people to sift through the unregulated new feed. Currently very few tracks in the new feed get enough attention to make it into the weekly feed so there's still quite a bit of stagnation.

    Thanks for correcting me...I had mistaken that feed for a "top tracks of the week". This makes the feed even worse. Wtf were they thinking? You'll have half the slots taken up by tracks created a month ago, leaving almost no chance for most tracks to make the feed. With 12k tracks made...you see 50?...and not even current ones?
    The 48 hour feed worked fine and the weekly. They needed to moderate it though, to eliminate yoyo don't move tracks and other goofy creations. Limit uploads to one per 72 hours, etc...to kill spam.
    They in no way have made track central better...it's a disgrace....now x2.
    I appreciate the information on the "top trending tracks of the week"....another new age term for tools..haha trending...oh brother.
