oh crap... hows the game going for u guys?

this is the one time i really screwed up. i was so sucked into the stupid watch dog demo and (paid?) reviews that i forgot about the forums and just bought the game.

    crap.

now im a lil nervous about how crappy it would be, especially after reading the forums and witnessing the Future Soldier crap... which is still broken after dunno how many years.

crap crap crap. how's the game going for u guys?

Awesome thanks. Enjoying it. I did get it cheap, £26.

I wasn't expecting the-greatest-game-since-the-last-one, so my expectations weren't pumped up by the hype like other people's.

I'm fortunate, no issues, runs fine on my system, can play all night with no lockups. I'm using GamaSaveManager just in case though.

    How's it going for you?

Game is pretty good if you don't mind playing it in 10min sessions before it CTD or BSOD.
Oh and if you're using SLI/Crossfire, turn that off 'cos that doesn't work.
There are dozens of tweaks and recommendations on how to get the game to work as designed. Take your pick and perhaps one will improve the time before it CTD.

You may be one of the fortunate guys that succeeds to play a couple of missions. Good luck and welcome to Watch dogs

To be honest I have no issues with Ubi, so may haters out there. As @Extreme_One said, wasn't expecting the-greatest-game-since-the-last-one but really enjoying it, esp since the mod was released.
    Nice job everyone!

Let me see... Lost my saved games twice and on my third playthrough I magically lost all of my unlocked hacks and weapons...

I have no big issues with watch dogs so far. I didn't have that big expectations to. I love the game only encountered a few glitches (no save corruptions, bsods, etc) and a couple of crashes. except that this is an awesome game!

Performance-wise, I'm doing okay with a HD7970 and an FX-6300 w/ 8GB RAM on ultra and manually enabled HD-HBAO but disabled Motion blur (don't like that). Apart from an occasional drop into the high 10's fps, it's good enough; the general stuttering is a deal of its own and occurs anyway.

Crashing is surprisingly rare, but the game doesn't offer alot, with few exceptions or funny moments downright boring.
Do a little hacking, play a little prince of persia, play a little "unlock the FarCry3 towers for extras and Maps", play a little pointless minigames, drive around GTA V.1 style ALOT, kill 100s of civilians and police but play the saint trying to rescue his sister or show care for some prostitute (WTF?).

Story doesn't mix up, gameplay is extremely repetetive.
Go take down a convoy and for 2 minutes - without moving - tickle the most heavily armed guy of that convoy. BS, just take' em down I say or leave it be.
Go see how a whole enemy convoy is firing on you - an NPC calls the police - and they attack you as well although by that time you didn't do anything.... W....T....F ?

Just reta**ed and not alot of fun. I'll likely uninstall this mess within the next days before even completing the single player mission (I intended to kill everyone who called me with the same conversation 1000 times over and over again after completing non-campaign missions (which were just as boring) but the scripted, linear game doesn't allow for that). Hence no point in even continuing.

Not completely performance related, only a big disappointment...

My system runs the game just fine on my new computer. The only issue I have is an intermittently working profiler though I can still use cameras to hack people and the hotspots (ATMs etc.) seem ok. The profiler usually won't work at the start but will kick on eventually if I keep hitting Z or try going through a camera and then back out it may kick on finally. It works fine during missions. Other than that and having to work around that glitch until the patch comes out, I am really enjoying this game and the story line.

Considering how many issues are being reported and, depending on your platform and issues you may be having, you may want to wait to play until things are patched or at least keep an eye on the known issues at: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ated-16th-June

Runs pretty good on an 18 month old gaming notebook (Intel/Nvidia). GFX on high +, at 1920 x 1080...................running high 50s to low 70s FPS. Have been getting GFX artifacting on last save point reloads and after 20-30 mins of play. I'm guessing my GPUs (GTX 680 Ms in SLI) are being stressed into it by WDs GFX demands + notebook GPU cooling limits (plenty of GFX RAM at 8 GBs).
