ANBA opponent obscures my rider! Option to listen to music when playing too?
i'm struggling a bit on the anba challenges as I can not see my rider when he is in the same place as the opponent as he is behind him. This also happens whenever we are in the same place on the track and is very confusing. Could we have an option to grey out the opponent? or just place them behind us?
My second point, i would like to listen to music/podcasts when playing sometimes, this is a normal option on most games, could it be added on an update please?
thank you

Those are my two biggest gameplay concerns as well. They've said they'll fix the ANBA thing in the next update.
But for those times when you're grinding away on a level/opponent, it would be great to listen to podcasts/audiobooks.

I've tried without success for three weeks to explain what I mean by wanting to listen to background music - but no-matter what I said, the support person who replied couldn't get into their head the fact that because the game cuts the background music as soon as it is launched, and also during some screen transitions (for instance, when completing a track and getting to the spinning wheel) - regardless of the position of the hardware mute switch - that this should be considered a bug. The reply I get: "The sounds produced by Trials Frontier do respect the hardware mute switch, switching screens should not produce any sound." and "As for background sounds cutting when Trials Frontier is launched, this behaviour is not a bug.".
If it is respecting the hardware mute switch (and I know occasionally when I launch it with the mute switch on, I still hear a "click" sound), then I'm afraid it IS a bug. Will they listen? No.

Bringing the music point back up after noticing something after these latest updates. A while back, you could start a song before launching the game, and the song would pause during launch. But once in the game, you could bring up control center, tap play and close control center, and the music would resume indefinitely. Now after one of the recent updates, if you repeat those steps, the song stops playing after exiting control center...
I've never seen a developer actively fight customer requests for music, a request that would be completely optional and up to the player, with no effect on the game. What reason do they have to be so against it?

I've always played Trials with sound effects on and my own music.
I have played Frontier on mute since the first day. Don't know why.

I definitely agree with the ANBA opponent obscuring my rider. It's like the rider and my rider merge into one at times. They could use the same ghost player scheme like they do on other Trials games, just a little arrow a bit above my rider, out of the way but you can still see how you are doing against your opponent.
