    It's real

I checked it myself it is real! Although we can only guess what that means.

Just use the Gibbed tools to unpack the shaders and you can see the codes

Usually I'd assume this. But knowing Ubisoft from their past releases, I think it's safe to say it wasn't quite a joke entirely if at all.

We need an official response from Ubisoft. (I believe that they don't give a **** about the PC version ofc, I am just curious on how they will react)

So not only does the PR rep continue to directly lie to all of us when everyone already knows the very obvious truth about the games downgrade, but now we find this nice little gem as well.

Not only that, but still no patch yet to fix this broke as hell game for crossfire users.

This is the biggest game-related disaster I've seen thus far. This goes well beyond diablo 3 and even sim city bad.

They should be giving us a free game like EA did regarding sim city, for putting up with this bs and their insanely slow patch that probably won't even fix anything.

I was so hyped about all the games going to be release by Ubisoft but after looking at thing like this, feels like the dev really don't appreciate pc gamer like me. Keep doin that crap, more and more people would most probably continue & download your games from torrent. Gamer like me bought the game not just because the game is great, but to show appreciate to the dev. But really, this kind of issue won't make you go even further, plus with your uplay still in "beta test".....

It's real. Gamniac got it right, they don't care and were conceited enough to think no one would notice. They want to keep PC graphics, in-line with consoles. I, for one, will never again pay full price for a Ubisoft game.

Reminds me of Candace from Infinity Ward. Empty vessel and meaningless niceties.

I totally agree with you. You can easly acces to that file by searching on internet, and if you do it, you will find this:

As you can read, it's written just after the downgrade made into the game in order to it could be played on consoles. For me it looks like the person who has written this was just tired of undoing their own work just for marketing proposals and left behind this full of irony comment.

I'd like to see this myself, can you elaborate on how we can see for ourselves?

    Thanks.
