No paintjobs? And no maps (I already have all the maps anyone has reported, so maybe there aren't any more on the Loot Wheel?) I was playing disconnected (no wi-fi/internet) in case that matters.

Statistically, it looks like you see a special item every 4-5 spins. Gold seems to tend to take 50% of the wheel, so its not as hard to get. I feel lucky to have gotten 2 clothing items. . .which makes me really surprised about how well I did this morning just experimenting.

I used my newly earned gems to go buy another clothing item (since that was the purpose of the test, it seemed appropriate).
I have a track none of the usual suspects is on. It's called Stilted path

I used the same method and got the following:
    - 4 tracks (probably landed the track on the wheel 25% of the time)
    - 5 clothing items (landed about 30% of the time)
    - 1 paint job (camo for the Jackal, though)
    Estimates:
    - 30 gems (spent them all on re-spins)
    - 3x 1000 coins of 8 seen
    - 10-15k coins all up
    - Approx 100 tier 1 items

In conclusion, probably worth using a rarefied fuel and a couple of double coins to do this. I'd recommend buying the clothing items that cost 15 gems or less over using re-spins to get them.

EDIT: Just used the Jackal in a slot machine challenge. The new paint job looks a lot better than the default orange.

I didn't see a thing, after getting my first rider customisation, for the entire day yesterday. Today I've seen three maps and a paint job twice.

I'm not spending the inflated gem price to respin since I have a way to grind yet and know they'll be snaffled up by chance eventually.

Rarified fuel would be a much welcomed prospect but since the slot machine has been so cheap since the update I don't know when that will arrive!

one way to not unlock new items is to play anba. ive yet to see an item come up on the wheel after playing an opponent and im pretty convinced they will never show on an anba track.

I have used over 200 gas on tier 1 tracks today (still haven't had a rarified fuel) and in those 40 odd runs I saw 1,000 coins twice. That was all!

I still have two tracks and five customisation items (not to mention any paintjobs) still to unlock from the wheel but it doesn't even give me a chance.

    Waste of fuel.

I am not sure. I havent been doing this precise approach anymore; just tracks in general. These days, I still have a few things I still have not won, but when it does show up, 99% of the time it comes up with money instead (which frankly, really sucks because 1000 is not enough money to bother with, and its often taking the place of the craft item I would prefer to have).

They must have changed the drop rate because I've used around 200 gas today on The Cave and Pipe Basin and only saw 1,000 coins twice, nothing else, again!

First few days after the update new items were on the wheel frequently, now they rarely appear.

I definitely still have 2 maps, 5 customisation items and 1 paintjob still to win so it isn't that I've run out of prizes.

I hate that they can tinker with it without informing us of the changes.
