Personally, if a special pops up on my Loot Wheel, I want it to be a track, or money. I want all the new clothing/bikeSkins out of the way. . . and yeah, I want to increase my chances for the new tracks.
So I recommend this:
"The Cave" track takes 10 seconds to run (upgraded bronco best). Add one rarified Fuel. Throw in a Coin Doubler because... why not?
Thats one hour of uninterrupted Loot Wheel chances (twice as many as a normal 20+ second track) with an easy Plat for max loot item wheel expansion, and you almost never crash. Probably 180-200 chances an hour given the other delays. And if a track comes up.... maybe spend some gems to get it. But at least a good hunk of the riff-raff will get out of my way. I tried it with one tank of fuel, and got rid of 2 clothing items, so it seems to work...
If anyone has other ideas, please let me know.
thats not a bad idea. im jealous of all the people that have extra tracks already. ive only manged to get one and i had to spend like 50-60 gems on respins it get it. i havent seen another one pop up yet.
honestly though, i feel like this update broke me a bit. i just dont have it in me to search for these things like this.
Just tried it. 20 runs, got a paint job. But I also got 20 parts.
Good strat for sure.
Same for me, the only time I found a track at the wheel, I had to spend at least 50 gems to get it. If I have to do that for each track it will be really annoying. Having to wait to be lucky is not fun at all.Originally Posted by sriskus Go to original post
Results:
Spins/hr: approx 136 (I only counted total spins for 15 minutes. . but I counted every significant item seen in the hour)
Gold items won/seen: 15/24
Clothing items won/seen: 2/7
Gems: 15
Crafting items: a ton of small stuff
No paintjobs? And no maps (I already have all the maps anyone has reported, so maybe there aren't any more on the Loot Wheel?) I was playing disconnected (no wi-fi/internet) in case that matters.
Statistically, it looks like you see a special item every 4-5 spins. Gold seems to tend to take 50% of the wheel, so its not as hard to get. I feel lucky to have gotten 2 clothing items. . .which makes me really surprised about how well I did this morning just experimenting.
I used my newly earned gems to go buy another clothing item (since that was the purpose of the test, it seemed appropriate).![]()
I ignored a new map earlier because I was grinding for parts. Next run it put a rider customisation on the part that I was grinding. I got the customisation but I was not amused. I only needed one more part and I didn't have enough gas for another run!
is the gold ever more than 1000 coins?
Nope; always 1000 gold. You'll still make much more money (and consistent money) with a coin doubler on Ghost Town or Pipe Basin.Originally Posted by sriskus Go to original post
in the shed it shows you which clothing items are available from the loot wheel. i bought all of them with diamonds to drastically increase the liklihood that when a special pops up on the wheel, it will be a track. so far, great plan as I have got a few of the tracks from it.
also, if you use gems to respin for clothing items, often it will be at least as expensive if not more so than just buying it from the shop.
I dont quite have the gems for that, but by doing the grinding I am getting to the point that whats left is something I can consider doing that for. I think have 5 items left, when I get it down to 3 I may just finish it off. However, yesterday I DID go ahead and buy the 3 clothes items that can only be gotten from the slot machine, for the same reason; I dont want to slog through an entire day for a clothing item on the slot....Originally Posted by Ch4er0n Go to original post
By the way, I am working on a track that is on the slot machine now. Like other updates, some tracks will be there....
