Hi, I'm xXCreepyB4byXx and I was pretty stoked to make it into the top 2% of online players on PS4 in just about a week's time. Unfortunately, like many others I have read about, I got some sort of Bug and my game crashed. I was at over 50% completion, all annoying hotspots, peeps, ctos towers, and investigations up to my level in story mode accomplished. Here's what happened.

I heard that this bug happens when you die in an online match and I recalled that DID happen to me just now. I was doing some online tailing and I fell off of a bridge or a building and fell to my death, suicide, I suppose, then, when my original game loaded back in, I was in the wrong outfit and couldn't seem to get back online, it just kept telling me to do the first intro mission to online play, and I, obviously, had already completed that mission, so I turned off the app, restarted the game, and when it loaded in, I still had on the original costume and although my money and skill points remained, all rewards from previous missions accomplished and even my skills did not reflect.

I had no guns besides the first pistol, I had the picture of my gadgets, but if I selected one of the more sophisticated ones, it would say do mission to unlock IED or whatever. When I tried to go online, it would say 'Do online contact intro mission to unlock' and when I stole a car parked on the curb, I broke the window and set off the alarm even tho I have the skill for auto open locks. The thing were it tells me to redo the first online mission has happened to me before, but it went away after I restarted the game, I didn't notice it having an effect on my weapons or skills before this incident, tho.

Please, everyone who has seen this glitch, post specific details about your experience, maybe we can see some common threads.

I really don't want to start over, I already finished collecting stuff, I HATE tedious collecting. *cough* Black Flag *cough*

Happened to me yesterday too - after I completed Act 3 and going in to act 4. I died in an online decryption match - the screen glitched and went gray sat there for 20 minutes - some HUD things were visible and still gave me XP but I couldn't do anything else. I was able to close out of the application fine with PS4 and then restarted watch dogs - suddenly i didn't have any ability with my profiler and it gave me the same error messages with the online play. Still waiting to hear from Ubi.

yep, welcome to the club...Been waiting over a week to play again. On Monday they said " we'll have a patch soon, like Friday". Today they told me no ETA on the patch, apparently they have to do extensive testing now that they have isolated the issue.

Indeed they do - I'm sorry someone told you a date - since we always try to make sure we only say something like that - when we are 100% sure.
