Why can I not receive Digital Replacement for faulty Disc Copy Of Game? | Forums

I get a error at least every 20 minutes of playing on the disc version. I have asked other people if they get this and they say no. One thing they all have in common is they have the digital version. I have contacted Ubisoft support and was told its possible i have faulty disc but theres a $20 replacement fee? Really? If the disc i purchased is faulty i should get a replacement digital copy that works free of charge.

stores should offer replacements for faulty copies (atleast where i live)
i'd say bring it back to the store you bought it from

I purchased from amazon. I contacted them about it already and was told that it dont qualify for replacement since its the content on the disc that is faulty and not physical damage to the disc itself.

I was hoping this patch would fix with the continuous game crashes i get. 10 minutes in game crashes. Restart game.Crashes in 5 minutes. Obviously something is wrong here.Ive reinstalled disc dozens of times. Am i the only one that gets game crashes like clockwork? Hard to enjoy a game that crashes every 5-20 minutes !

Perhaps it depends in the laws of the country amazon operates from, which I assume is the USA? In Australia legally you can return a faulty or not fit for purpose product to the retailer and they can't refuse you or refer you to the manufacturer.
