Agreed. Also some of the more nonconventional weapons, like a crossbow, tasers, some fun stuff that could definitely be found while scavenging. I'm sure some people in new your have a crossbow. Definitely a big weapon selection will allow for different players at high levels to still have their own feel.
You got that right for sure, like Boarder Lands 2. It has a ridiculous amount of weapon.Originally Posted by Watchman013 Go to original post
I'd like the flamethrower too. but I want it to be very inconvenient to carry. I'm totally into all of the realism that goes into games and I think that if big stuff like that is in then it needs to be right. I think it should make you very slow. and I want taking cover to be hard as well. flamethrowers are bulky, and heavy. it should be hard to maneuver. and when you take cover you want to protect yourself but not expose the gas tanks to enemy fire. I personally would not use them in serious combat just because it really isn't my play-style. However, I've played games where the enemy gets cool stuff and you kill an enemy and try to take it but you can't because only they can have that weapon. And its human nature to want what I can't have.
short-version: flamethrowers = yes.
Personally I prefer the Flamethrower-Turret that Megan uses in the E3-Demo. It doesn't give a way your Position and you don't have to carry around a huge gas-tank that allows the enemies to kill you with one shot in the tank. Plus you can use another weapon while the turret flames the mobs.... so from a tactical point of view, this has more advantages than use the flamethrower as one of your main-weapons. My 5 cents^^
Like JokerUnique said, I prefer the turret too. I think a flamethrower would slow you down to much. And as far as I know you can only carry 2 weapons and a turret don't count as one.
MarcoStyleNL just released a video about some new screens about the weapons en inventory. It looks like there is very much we can collect. And just as Marco I'm wondering what we can do with the lockpicks. Entering buildings maybe that other people without the lockpicks can't?

I would love the turret Bronson uses click, since it suppresses and damages a bit more efficient than the flame-turret, probably.
