I think this means that we can't have cross-platform WR any more.
eh, i wouldnt worry about such a minute difference

As far as I see android just become even slower than it was before..
Looks like android bikes a bit faster than ios bikes, but riders are still faster at ios.. Oops

I do somewhat agree that it's a really small difference, and most world records are held by more than 0.07 or 0.08 seconds. But still, on a track as simple as The Cave there were differences of that size. An extra 0.07 or 0.08 is a huge difference on a track like that. Across a more complex track these results might be greater. Although, most WR's are held on iOS devices. All this is saying is that despite a handicap, iOS players are still outplaying Android players or rather, a handful of iOS players are outplaying Android players, not many.

Or it could be that the track is different. Or that the track and bike are different and by some combination it appears one is faster.

I'm not saying this because I play on Android. I'm saying this because this is how we're taught to think on my course, and there is no evidence that one or the other is faster. All this does is show there's a difference.
Well, then we need another track to test if Android finishes earlier again. Anybody still have that Test Track?

Is there a video or pictures of this test track? I haven't heard about it for quite some time.

I've never seen it, but somebody said it's just a straight line.

yeah, the test track was called 'Backwheel' and i had it for a while - got a pretty good time on it too. its gone from my map now though, it was around about where crashed castle is now. it was essentially flat, you could pull a few huge slides over the rolling mounds of the track, but there were no real jumps. most time with back tire down gave the fastest time, hence the name i guess. also, the bronco is pretty substantially faster wheelie-ing than with both wheels on the ground. like, markedly so. i was pretty surprised at the difference.
