Buttons perform poorly when racing against someone.

This is something that had been bothering me and ruining the game since I started playing it. On my first gen Nexus 7 I've noticed that the lean buttons, throttle and rewind button all have sporadic performance issues. If you're just using one button they seem to work fine, and generally seem to work fine when it's just your character, but once you enter a game against someone and you need to start leaning forward while driving up a hill buttons will cut off.

I've had trouble with races against every NPC in the game because while I'm trying to go up a steep hill, or do a backflip the game suddenly cuts off my engine completely, or it'll decided to sputter repeatedly unless I lift off the lean button completely. Once I do remove the lean button it works just fine, and may work just fine again once I press my thumb back onto it, but maybe 7/10 games against NPCs I have this problem. It not only makes races against NPCs significantly more difficult, but it ruins the experience for me.

I have thought that it may be my thumb slipping from the throttle, but since I've started noticing it I've tried looking closer at my thumb when it happens. When the throttle starts to sputter my thumb is literally in the very same spot, but the button on the screen is growing and shrinking repeatedly, and once I remove the thumb from the throttle it stops.

    Just so it's clear what I'm playing on, it's a 32gb 1st gen Nexus 7 running on kitkat, 4.4.2.

I guess it might not just be racing against someone, just in general. I was doing some of the quests I unlocked last night after I made this and ran into the problem again, without racing against anyone. So in general, using two buttons together can cause driving forward to completely cut out, or cut on and off repeatedly.

    Nexus 7 No Problems

I too have a nexus 7 that I play it on, but I've not had any oXperiaproblemyou are having on it...but I have experienced those problems when I play it on my Xperia M phone. These problems only seem to pop up after playing for a while. Is the device noticeably warmer when these problems occur??
