I'm only joking, Shifty. You do a thankless task and I for one wouldn't want to be in your shoes when you have to come back on here with an "I don't know" or a "soon" comment. I can imagine how you feel whenever you start posting the latest bit of vague news as you know what's coming!

Well, a lot of time we are trying to get info to you as soon as possible. At times it is easier to get vague tidbits approved than to get the full release approved. We (Johkr, Shogun, Blue, En0, Ben, and myself) work hard to make sure we have all of the info out as soon as we can. Sometimes we need to be quiet about features/updates/DLC for various reasons.

We all respect the job you do but with the role you hold on this forum you're always going to be the one who gets the brunt of people's emotions and frustrations when they boil over, that's just the nature of it, I guess.

I actually understood this when I first got the position and had to start crafting the rules and whatnot. After a while I just let a lot of the 'hate' roll off. I know you guys are just super passionate about Trials. I was (and still am) just as passionate as you guys when I was posting to the forums about the Big Pack DLC and wanting info for the Big Thrills DLC. The only difference is that I have seen both the fan and dev side, and I now understand that it isn't as easy as just saying "this is what is coming, this is when, and here is everything else".

If you have issues, post about it. Let us know. If we didn't get feedback from you guys on things, then there wouldn't have been some of the changes that have already been made, and there are planned changes as well. This is directly from what you guys have wanted. Your feedback means far more to us than it just being a random post.

What isn't cool, and what plain pisses me off, is when someone decides that buying a game entitles them to belittle one of the people who worked on it based on their voice, appearance, or personal choices. It's the same as if someone went to your job and just starting doing the same thing.

Im really disappointed in vladiiiiiiii as well everyone, but how do we know he isn't in the hospital? or a coma? or something more serious?

maybe he got murdered, or was in an airplane accident, or decided to set up a Diabolic recreation in his back yard and split his head wide open?

Does anyone have proof that he isn't physically able or something? what happened? It could be anything!!

im putting my pitchfork and torch down until its been proven that he is indeed fine, and just decided to disappear.

m8 this is the best place to find info . if he was sick do you think it wouldnt be on here ?. he wasnt in a wheelchair on his fusion stream.. and when he was on redlynxes twitch he had arms and legs . shifty thanks for seeing this for what it is . x

As I have said before I have good information, if that were not the case this thread would never have progressed to this point. As stated above. i don't actually dislike/hate vladiiiiiiii and for me this thread is 25% serious. The info I have is not going to be shared publicly, because his personal life is his personal life and I wont go any lower than a few low blow jokes...ok maybe more than a few.

Main point of this thread was to see if he was ok (which turns out he he is) and once I found this out thought I'd make it known what had happened as this is not the first time such a thing has happened on these forums and no matter who you are, this kind of conduct is simply not on. Not when it mobilises a large number of people to invest a considerable amount of their personal time. Hopefully some good will come out of this mess of a thread if it discourages others from doing this kind of thing again - or at least not in a hurry.

I didn't expect this thread to morph into what it has and am surprised it's still going. The prizes are never going to come - especially after this thread - so if that's the only reason for keeping this thread open, then no need anymore.

Good or bad, I take full responsibility for my own conduct so if I am out of line in anyway or have gotten things way wrong I am prepared to take it on the chin and apologise to whoever I need to. Feel free to start another we hate Dave thread (I'm a Dave) in that case

Completely agree and I hope the positivity and anticipation of the future of the franchise by a select few of us on the forum helps. I'm just upset I can't say piss without censorship. Piss.

Also, and certainly not condoning any of the negativity on here, I've been pretty good at stating what I love and what I'd like to see instead of saying this game sucks (it doesn't). You are in the entertainment industry. You're also under the umbrella of a large corporation now. This is expected. Although, I, unlike most on here, really like Ubisoft. I'm glad you have a thick skin and can shrug all the negativity off to some degree and get on a live stream and still have fun. I have a pretty thick skin, but I think by this point, I'd be a drone on live streams not really caring anymore. You still keep it lively.

I'm pretty sure that I speak for most of us (Us being people from RL and Ubi) when I say that I understand that I'm not always viewed as a 'person' on the forums. I'm viewed as part of RedLynx. As soon as you learn to not take things personally then it makes life much easier.

Livestreams used to be intimidating, especially Official ones, as I am 'live' as an Official Representative of the RedLynx Studio. It's easy to imagine screwing things up, or talking about something you aren't supposed to and leaking a feature or something. Now I view most livestreams as a good chance to hangout with the community, play some Trials, and talk about the DLC or updates in a more personable way.

We do have an RTX stream tomorrow, and that one has me nervous. It doesn't help that a certain person said "There will be thousands of people watching from the convention floor, tens of thousands of people watching on livestreams, and millions viewing the video on demand. No pressure!"
