There are ways of expressing discontent I agree Melchett, and some of us have let our passion for the franchise spill over, but for RL to dismiss the wave of negativity from those who put so much into HD and Evo would be either very arrogant or rather silly. I still believe they are neither of these, and that there are substantial notes being taken from what is being said on the forums.

Many long time players and builders I speak to have lost or are close to losing patience with Fusion which makes me sad, and the lack of clear communication (for whatever reason) confounds matters.

I myself put an awful lot of work into the Track Central thread, my track selection, the youtube, twitter, twitch thread, and generally just hanging around the new forums out of hope...how long I can last I don't know, Fusion needs continued injections and sooner rather than later.

I sold my ps3 so I could play Trials Evo. I played it and built tracks everytime I wasn't working, played it as soon as I walked in the door. Sold the xbox to get PS4 and was excited to put the same amount of time into Fusion.
Now Fusion is a game I play when I'm really really bored or I have finished watching the paint dry. I maybe play for about 1 to 2 hours a week at most..
If the DLC's don't start rolling out soon I also will give up. September onwards there is some amazing games coming out, single player and all have multiplayer etc. Redlynx have some tough times ahead to compete. They have a few months to go..

That's why an unfinished Trials Fusion had to be released in April - so that it wasn't gonna get overshadowed by the games Ubisoft actually (borderline) care about.

I'm good at being pessimistic and not so good with the other one, so I'll play to my strengths; if any of you think the Trials we love is coming back one day, forget it. The Evo dlc packs with the ghost recon inserts etc were the beginning of the end - it's gonna get worse not better and no they don't care and even if they did it's not in their hands anymore.

@Melchett - lot of truths there, as for me I only visit this place out of habit, it's still on my bookmarks bar for now haha

Didn't Qc help Redlynx with Translating or something once?

Anyway I haven't been on Trials since launch week, I don't even think I 0'd all the tracks.

But yeah soon enough Shifty will swoop in with some absolute ******** justification and probably lock the thread.

I hate Redlynx for what they have done to the community, they built it up just to cut it back down again.

I would save all of our feedback/concerns for Fusion until the week before the new DLC drops.. It's the only time we might see the old devs posting here.
Yeah, they will probably just ignore us again, and push the DLC/Season Pass down our throats. But hey, maybe we can get some real information without going through a middleman as usual.

I dunno what people are waiting for, or what info they want from the devs. If you think a dev might come out and say "yeah we screwed up Fusion big time because of this, this and this and tbh the Ubi-merge has killed Trials" - not gonna happen. They will fix the most brokenest of things and the dlc packs will probably be pretty good but smaller (and maybe another Redlynx buildcomp with the generous theme of "build a Ubisoft themed track - you have 3 days to submit it") - that's all we're getting, still the same game no one really likes but more of it.

My minds already on the sequel and after Fusion & Frontier my expectations for it are low, I don't trust Redlynx with Trials anymore.

edit: to be clear, Frontier is actually a great game but the lengths they go to, to frustrate you into buying coins/gems is so ridiculous it's funny - and anyone that buys into their argument that "Frontier is a mobile game, for casual players and thats the way mobile gaming is" - you're an idiot and a sheep. And if Frontier is for the casuals wtf is Fusion for? Cos it wasnt made with us in mind.

LOL I won't be buying any DLC, for now, I am done with Trials.

Really glad I didn't buy the season ticket.

This. Except i still play Evo from time to time.

Just like Gears 3, after Judgement came out, everybody played it for a few days then went back to Gears3 and theyre still playing it. The only difference is that it is STILL a supported game, with rotating community playlists. Too bad the numbers aren't that strong with Fusion or the devs./Ubi would see what a failure that game really is. You think all those 1 post 'omg this games terrible' threads are a coincidence? Yes they don't break it down enough but i can guarantee that whatever they had intended to say has already been said by most of us on here. I didn't see any of that with Evo at all.

The other thing i can think of is, that the DLCs wont be out every 2 months (6 times in a year total, im assuming). They are just timing most of the DLCs to release whenever a blockbuster game comes out so they can persuade the player base to keep Fusion off the 'shelves'. Otherwise the first DLC would have been out by now, no?

This. I already feel like I wasted €20 on the base game, so glad I didn't put in an extra €20 for that season pass.
Even though I want to be done with Fusion there is still a part of me that hopes RL can bounce back from this 'disaster'.
