Thanks for posting your list Rude! Look at all of those great tracks. This comp did breathe some life back into evo for a lot of us. I'm gonna have to go through the list to play some of the tracks im sure i missed. Big thanks to all the builders, not just in this comp, but all of you guys that put out quality tracks that help extend the life of the game for everyone. It really means a lot!
Its a shame Vlad isn't around anymore because of this. It's hard to even comment on it, cause I don't know what happened. I'm sure the community wouldve understood if he would have explained what happened. But maybe he's going through personal stuff that just isn't fit for public knowledge. I hope he comes back around at some point. We all know he loved the franchise and was a big part of the community.

No need to comment really, I have good information that what happened wasn't due to personal circumstances. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have posted anything else in this thread.
This is the second time such a thing has happened with a large community organised competition and I decided to air this all publicly to discourage anyone else from doing this again.

indeed euan, I could get beyond the garish looking forum and other minor niggles I have with it, if only it used cookies
annoys the hell outta me having to log in every smegging time I want to rant...hence it usually has to be a decent rant...now I can barely be bothered to rant about it, it became a matter of what's the point, the people that listen have 0 control over what happens with the game now, ubi turned up and made it like all their other games, attempt to appeal to the masses and to hell with the hardcore players
this is me, showing how much faith I have in games these days...I'm not buying any more....was going to buy season pass for 360, i'll just play the stuff on PC instead, if my nephew wants to play trials with me, we can play Evo or HD [this isn't just about multiplayer, the driving lines, physics and general designs all appeal to me more on those older titles [even though I'm utterly terrible]

Another thing, as soon as Ubisoft bought Trials, they had to go forward and add ******** transhumanism propaganda... "welcome to the future [welcome to the new world order], man, machine the fusion" is not only the worst intro song I have ever heard in a game, it is also corny (sounds like a Gillette fusion razor commercial) and resumes pretty well what this game is about (fusion of man and machine equals no soul)
Weeks / months are passing, and I still don't have anything better to say about the game, I am about to just shut up and not show my face because it gets old and it will amount to nothing, and I am moving on, playing with other toys, so I guess this is kinda farewell. Best regards to everybody I have ever come in contact with in this community, greener pastures await, Ill be sure to say hi to Vladiiiiiiiii.

I'm not sure how seriously RedLynx and Ubisoft take all of the negativity surrounding the game or whether they believe a lot of it is people jumping on the "Let's have a moan" bandwagon but so many long time fans have gone so quickly since this latest incarnation that I really feel they need to address their fans whilst they still have some. How many of your longest serving fans and community members do you want to leave before you tell us what's really happening with the series we all love(d)?
I haven't played Fusion for even 10% of the time I had played HD and Evo for after 2 months of release. I don't ever think I will be gripped by a game again like Trials HD and then Evo enthralled me. Personally, I don't even know why I hang about on these forums any more, maybe it's some vague hope that you can miraculously drag Trials Fusion out of the shambolic mess that it currently is and turn it into something that is at least the equal of it's predecessors. I certainly spend more time looking for a glimmer of hope from you guys on this forum than I do playing the game any more.
I'm really sad to see you go Qc. One of the first Trials friends I had on my list back when HD came out in April 2009 and still on there now despite many other casualties along the way! Your tracks were an inspiration, especially the Pure Trials series and some of your early HD creations which took user-created content to a whole new level at the time.
RedLynx: QcChopper - one of your biggest ever fans, legend from pre-Xbox days, former forum moderator and one of the very, very few to zero fault the original Ultimate Endurance tournament on Trials HD. Now the latest casualty in your ever-decreasing fan base. Sure, you've probably not even heard of half the people venting their frustrations on these forums but if the likes of Qc are reacting the same way to this situation then perhaps this is the wake-up call you need to address your fans?
