with 1067 tracks it is pathetic. I understand issues of cross compatibility between consoles but why can't RL populate the PC TC with the tracks from Xbox and PS4? I must point out that the Track Jam tracks have been put on all versions so there's really no excuse... It is technically possible so why not have some focus on it?
Yeah PC TC is pretty well... um.. for the most part, crap. I'll agree with cross platform though like spark said, I'm sure it's down on the list unfortunately. Hell, at this point, I'd even settle for Redlynx picks to be made cross platform. Oh wait.. there hasn't been any of those either aside from the Track Jam tracks.
PC TC might be small, but there's still a bunch of great tracks built on it (large portion by Evo Gold TC regulars) and some new and aspiring builders learning the ropes.
Of course there's a large amount of bad tracks as well (and lots of mislabeled difficulties or multi-uploads), can't expect new players to build like the pros after a month.
I'd love to see more builders that go by the "rules" and learn to build proper tracks but when the majority of builders does not come on those forums to ask for feedback it makes it hard for them to learn from their mistakes. And I wonder how many follow the evo tutorial basics on things like difficulty.
Also the User track forum is cluttered with posts from all platforms due to the large amount, so track threads get bumped down to page 2 in notime.
FMX and Skill games are by far the most lacking and least quality/amount being made.
A lot of the console people been building in HD or Evo, and the move for them to X1 or PS4 is more natural then going to PC, so the majority is still on consoles.
I agree cross TC would be awesome but the first thing we need is new/larger feeds (patch) , so tracks don't get lost somewhere between Highest and Newest if a lot get posted in short time.
I try my best to contribute to TC with my own tracks but it takes time to put out quality.
As for my track videos, I will continue to make them so PC tracks will be easier to find.
But right now I'm on a slowdown because I am preparing for a vacation trip, so any suggestions for tracks would be helpful. (will be away from like 10-18 june). I will continue building & making videos once I am back.
Im hoping the first patches and DLC will spark some builders to post on PC. I started a track but had a few issues (crashes) and so am holding off until the game is a bit more reliable, also haven't been able to log on to ubiservers the last couple of times I tried so lost a bit of interest in booting up the game.
I have talked with a few track creators (pretty much all of the good ones) and they all are waiting for dlc's to come out to build. I am excited for that moment because then I will have MUCH more content to upload in montagesOriginally Posted by Fernanjoe Go to original post![]()
