I havent played prototype, but from what I hear, the first one was good, and the second one was good but not as good. The second protagonist was a black guy. And apparently everyone thought the game would be serious and kinda mature because of a really emotional trailer but it ended up being him cursing and blowing crap up like normal

@Humble: Darby said that Edward didn't have one to stress that he stole the costume from a traitor, and he is not actually an assassin.

Darby said only true assassins have beaks. so Arno is probably a templar/assassin hybrid as implied

the protagonist of the second one was objectively a better character, alex was kind of a blank slate, but alot of people were mad that they turned alex into the antagonist... the game was good but the consensus is wasn't as polished as the first one

Or maybe beaks kinda give you away lol. I have to say..this is the most actually blend-in worthy and inconspicuous assassin outfit I have seen since AC1. He actually looks like he could fit in the with nobles, or the dark rag clad peasants. It is not too flashy, not white, pretty neutral.

Why are we trusting Darby? He's just a writer, he doesn't make the overarchng story decisions.

And I thought Mercer's design was fairly drab to be honest.
