UBISOFT® AND NVIDIA TEAM UP ON ASSASSIN’S CREED® UNITY, FAR CRY® 4, THE CREW™ AND
TOM CLANCY’S THE DIVISION™
London, UK - June 4, 2014 — Ubisoft and NVIDIA today announced the next chapter in their strategic partnership bringing amazing PC gaming experiences to life in Ubisoft’s highly anticipated upcoming titles including Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, The Crew and Tom Clancy’s The Division.
NVIDIA’s GameWorks Team is working closely with Ubisoft’s development studios to incorporate cutting edge graphics technology and gaming innovations to create game worlds that deliver unprecedented realism and immersion. NVIDIA’s GameWorks technology includes TXAA antialiasing, which provides Hollywood-levels of smooth animation, soft shadows, HBAO+ (horizon-based ambient occlusion), advanced DX11 tessellation, and NVIDIA PhysX technology.
“Working with NVIDIA has enabled us to bring an enhanced gameplay experience to our PC players,” said Geoffroy Sardin, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with NVIDIA on our biggest upcoming titles.”
This announcement builds on the successful collaboration between Ubisoft and NVIDIA that added visually stunning effects to Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® Blacklist™, Assassins Creed® IV Black Flag and Watch Dogs™.
“We’re excited to continue our long-term partnership with Ubisoft in bringing our latest PC technology to their games”, said Tony Tamasi, senior vice president of Content & Technology at NVIDIA. “Through GameWorks, we have been able to add unique visual and gameplay innovations to deliver amazing experiences for these stellar Ubisoft games. I can’t wait to play them myself.”

That'd help you loads more than just 1 780. But then again 1 780 maybe be enough for ulrta @1080p. Personally I'd wait until closer to beta in which case system specs may be revealed and then see how your 780 does then go from there. Me, I want the best possible experience at 1440p.
I've seen how such team-up worked out for previous titles, and it simply didn't.
So can't say I give a damn about it, I mean I know it's gonna turn out the same BS as always, nothing really works, or if something works, it has unreasonable requirements and ridiculously high and illogical resource demand...
Or it could be same crap as with FC3, where Ubi just didn't gave a flying frag about game crashing on SLI cards and didn't bothered to cooperate with NVIDIA in order to fix the stuff.
Anyway, people shouldn't be getting hyped up over this crap as it WILL bite them in the arse, just like with every PC game out there, crapped out by Ubisoft.
So much negativity, please go negative somewhere else. Yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion but come on man some of us are really big fans of this game. And if anything that they've been doing with The Division it's that they are making a great product. Yes we all know Ubisoft may not have the best track record but there are a lot of other game companies that are no better. I remain highly excited for this game.Originally Posted by luciusnetheril Go to original post
Well said, i want to add that its one thing to go to a game forum for a released game that is plagued with issues I.E. Batman Arkham Knight and Ghost Recon Phandoms ( now plagued even further by marketing F2P but forcing 20 bucks through griefing new players ) but this game isn't even out yet. I mean what purpose does it serve you or the community to just stop by to say these things before release. I mean i get it, lack of trust, previous issues, poor track record and more.Originally Posted by MoltenBoron Go to original post
What people do forget though that UBIsoft is a publisher who continues to buy development house, some good some with bad track records. So before you simply bash the game and say UBIsoft is gonna mess it up look at the developer first and there track record before you make any real judgments. I mean if they have completely lost your trust then simply wash your hands of them and any developers working with them and walk away, no harm no foul. Coming here i cant even imagine makes you feel better and only offers hate with no solutions to the plagues that came before this title.
We cant expect them to remember everything that worked and didn't work in previous titles so maybe you could offer some of those things for them to consider if they have not yet in hopes of providing a better title while its still being developed. I mean you mentioned FC3 and the same guys with others are doing this game, so why not compile and start a thread of the issues you know of with that game to be considered while working on this game. This will allow developers to maybe go back and look into those issues, what caused them and how to avoid them in this title, like phasing for example. We want to help these guys as much as we can along the way in hopes of avoiding some of the mistakes in the past and find solutions for the future.
