Hi All,
Hi Redlynx,
Hi Ubisoft,
The fact that you have left the Berserker bike un-obtainable to people who skip the roulette wheel to get parts is a f**king joke. We all know the ANBA Robot is terrible, but to make finishing all of his missions without all of the parts a punishment is a complete joke.
This game is in its core, addictive, people like myself who have played since Trials HD will not want to sit spinning a wheel, we want to race! ITS TRIALS TIME not spin spin time. No mustard on my bike.
So please fix this. Let us get these blueprints some other way otherwise the quagmire track is extremely hard.
Surely when you create a game, you don't let loopholes like this slip in? (Can the player be rewarded for extensive time and effort yes, is there anything in the game that is frustrating enough to cause unistall's... Yes! The bike that you now can't get no matter how hard you ride!!)
Sorry for my rant but seriously, this is a floor in the game.

Interesting premise; can you clarify your stance better?
Some quests need parts. Upgrading any bike REQUIRES parts. The only way to get those parts, or to get blueprints for other bikes via quests, is to spin a wheel. You have to be doing that or you wouldn't be progressing very far in the game.
So why did you choose to actively reject spinning the wheel for ANBA berserker blueprints, versus (For example) spinning the wheel for quests, corny corns, etc....to ultimately get other blueprints, like the Riptide?
Are you trying to finish the game without spinning more than necessary, or something? Do you upgrade your bikes at all? Do you spin the hourly roulette wheel?
For what it's worth, the berserker blueprints are entirely optional; I got them so late I had already upgraded my riptide enough to complete the game (ie complete all tracks). Furthermore, I completed the game without spending anything. And ANBA never ends...even after you got Quagmire, you can still play ANBA and get your first Berzerker Blueprint. I don't think it's stated anywhere that you have to be able to access all content regardless of any arbitrary decision. But these blueprints are optional, and accessible....if you follow their F2P rules.
(If RL does listen to this, all they have to do is offer the full set of blueprints for a fee, in gems, etc, to meet your demand. I am not sure I would call that a victory. . . But I do believe you should be able to play your way. . . )
Note: I am in no way supporting the RL decision to use the F2P model; I can't stand it. But your selective refusal at this point intrigues me...please clarify.
Upgrading bikes DOES NOT REQUIRE parts. Having the correct parts reduces the cost of the upgrade but it can be done at full cost without the parts.
I have 20 ANBA missions left before unlocking Quagmire and I have 9 Berserker blueprints left to collect. I had assumed that if I didn't get all the blueprints then they would be available when he starts up his routine again. Is this not the case?
If the Berserker becomes unobtainable then I may just stop playing when I finish the questline.
A technicality. Yes, it requires massive amounts of money (about double), or gems to reduce cost if you dont spin for parts. You can only get any decent number of gems through spinning something, or buying it. I am going to assume nobody is buying anything here, because you get so little for your money its just stupid, so gems are out. If you want to get all your money through incessant grinding and a faulty ANBA. . .and be willing to pay almost double... then yeah, thats an option. Not an option most sane people would take though.Originally Posted by Mandrake2007 Go to original post
ANBA never ends, even after unlocking Quagmire; the berzerker blueprints are its always eventually obtainable. . You get nothing without effort in this game; you must play+spin to get those blueprints if you want them. HOWEVER, if you have won the ANBA track and miss on the spin, you do have the option to not spend gems and simply replay the ANBA opponent again without leaving the track... doing so (and beating him again) will let you have another shot at the spin without costing you any in-game currency (just a lot of time and effort). This is how I got many of my berzerker blueprints (I was saving up my gems for skipping hard ANBA opponents, not for adding a few percentage points to a blueprint wheel spin).I have 20 ANBA missions left before unlocking Quagmire and I have 9 Berserker blueprints left to collect. I had assumed that if I didn't get all the blueprints then they would be available when he starts up his routine again. Is this not the case?

After reading another thread I'm getting worried.
In order to complete ANBA and get him to start his cycle again you have to complete Quagmire and from what I'm reading it looks like Quagmire is a proper ballache on anything other than the Berserker. Problem is I now only have 15 ANBA challenges left before Quagmire and still need 9 blueprints for the Berserker. My Riptide is on its way to 3/4/4/4 so I'm certain I won't be able to finish that track anytime soon.
Think after all the time I've put in I'm hitting a wall and may have to call it a day soon. Glad I didn't pay a penny.
You'll need to get the Riptide up to 4/5/5/5 to progress through the missions, and I'm pretty sure you can finish the main quests with that bike. Mati has shown that it's possible to do Quagmire with a lesser bike, but if it's still too hard, I'd guess that a few points into the Phantom (which you'll get before the end of the game) could make Quagmire easier.
I watched the video of Quagmire that Mati put up and it looks ludicrous.
I'd thought the Tier 3 tracks were all essentially Extremes but after seeing Quagmire they don't look like Extremes anymore.
wow you really think the phantom can take the quagmire?
Well, I've only ever tried the phantom once, and it was to see how it would do in Quagmire... and it only took a few seconds to get past the first obstacle (with no upgrades), while my 4/5/5/5 Riptide I couldn't get past it in 3mins. So I'd have to imagine after a few upgrades it should be able to do it. Though I guess I could be wrong.Originally Posted by sriskus Go to original post
OK. So thanks for everyone's responses. You are saying that after I have spent HOURS struggling to complete quagmire with the riptide I can then go and get the berserker... great?Originally Posted by xitooner Go to original post
Thats like in Trials HD giving us a track designed for the Micro donkey but only giving us a limited amounts of spins to get that bike... oh but you can do it on another bike if you really want but we made the entire level for that bike...
Of course I've span the wheel and of course I do the roulette every hour. (Even more so now I need monies to pimp my riptide!)...
BUT... I got SO bored of the roulette wheel, long ago with the grinding for bolts and nuts for those stupid main quests that all I want to do is set some god dam times on every level and stop playing this game... it has too many flaws!!
