I saw positive, and I saw negative. My post reflected how I felt about the situation, regardless of what type of response the OP was looking for when he created the thread.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
Common sense says that the phrase "get a job", means to find a steady source of income.
Man, that trolling threat was really intimidating. The fact is I spoke my mind, and broke no rules in the process.
I'm glad that Emerica is such a generous guy, but giving things away isn't what made this a great community. Members helping others get better at speedrunning/ninjas/creating tracks, members who stream, members who hold tournament and contests, members who put tracks and runs up on YouTube, members who make tracks, and members who play custom tracks are why this is a great community.

People can post negative stuff if they want to in my opinion.
Not everyone sees things the same way, if they did this world would be boring.
But when it turns into name calling and trolling then its kind of ridiculous.
Basically, its nice to see a positive thread. And again, bravo emerica6708![]()
Constructive-negative is fine, but general meanness, trolling and attacking others shouldn't be. Not necessarily talking about this thread, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to see that kind of stuff stamped out. We do have a certain amount of freedom on this forum and though I am all for free speech etc I don't like it seeing abused either and it would be a shame to see this place degenerate into something like the Battlefield forums or any other hostile forum on the internet.
I have made posts in the past that got the good ol' Shifty treatment, and got the reply, "It does't matter that you didn't break the rules, I felt you were trolling."Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
I forgive you though. It's good to see you are learning from your mistakes, and growing as a moderator/manager.
Back on topic: A gaming company gives a person enough hours of gaming entertainment to wear out a controller, then person complains about controller being worn and wants a new one from said gaming company... #Priceless.
(BTW, I have worn out many controllers due to Trials, as I'm sure most here have. Why should only the poor benefit? That's unfair, NEW CONTROLLERS FOR EVERYONE!!!)
Changing the forums to this Ubi garbage, then releasing a bad attempt at a Trials game will certainly put people in a negative mood. Don't act like the negativity magically came out of nowhere.Originally Posted by DJ_2wItchY Go to original post
