    The Trials Community

Maybe some of you read the thread (hey that rhymes!) that I posted a few weeks ago, it was basically me asking if Redlynx would send me a controller because I am broke, and I've used the same one for years, grinding through THD, TEVO and now Fusion with the same controller (that is basically unusable)

So, nothing really ever transpired with my asking Redlynx for a controller, until one day i log into the forums, find that I have a new message and open to read that

    emerica6708

is willing to send me a controller!!!

Not only that but today I received TWO controllers from him!!

Now, the point of this is that in my opinion, the trials community, is STILL strong after all these years and it brings a tear to my eye that a total stranger can be so willing to send me something that will help my trials careers span even longer! And why did he do this?

Because the love of Trials is all encompassing!!

So thank you from the bottom of my heart emerica6708

This story is just an amazing example of how the people in the community are super willing to help their brethren out in times of need!!

I hope this story brings a smile to your face & makes you realize that people in the TRIALS community really do care about each other and will go to amazing lengths to ensure that are able to bring the roof down playing trials!

    thank you again emerica6708!!!

I live in canada btw and he sent it from the states!!!

If you ever need a couch to crash on or visit Toronto give me a shout and ill show you a great time!!!!

I think it's great that emerica6708 gave you his controllers, but I think it's sad that you made no effort to buy one yourself. There are so many ways you can make quick cash, but you chose to wait for a handout.

Way to turn a positive thread to a negative. Well I'm pretty sure Gassy wasn't sat waiting for someone to give him a controller, plus he asked Redlynx and probably not all too serious about it. Respect to Emerica6708, that is very awesome of him/her to do something like that

If you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all. Can we just make that a forum rule for a little while please. Nice post and great gesture emerica6708. Glad there are people like you in the Trials community.

Considering it's been quite a while since the initial thread was made (and he bumped it himself), chances are he had no intention on buying one, and was hopeful that Redlynx would buy him one.

No, I'm going to speak my mind, regardless of how you feel about it.

I was going to make the first comment and echo the same thing, but was too lazy to log in
I don't think the plea to Redlynx for a new controller was a joke at all. That's what makes this funny.
Redlynx owes me months of my life back because I dumped it in the editor and playing Evo. I'd like 40,000USD sent my way ASAP.
Nobody made me spend that time, but the addictiveness of the game is to blame.
If I don't receive the funds within a month, my attorney will be in touch.

. This is a more valid plea actually...haha
Well done on your donated controllers.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" seems fitting here. I think you make some rather baseless accusations and depend on circumstantial evidence but it's only fair that, so long as you are not breaking the rules, you are able to say these things without worry of being silenced. The best kind of discussion comes when two people disagree with one another.

Anyway, the focus really shouldn't be on GAS_PR1CES efforts to get his own controller but on emerica's generosity. It's great that we have people in this community who are willing to help out their fellow players like this. It's what separates us from the cavemen! It's good to see that after all these years and an acquisition by Ubisoft that the Trials community is still as great as it ever was.

My Xbox controller has been around since before the days of Trials HD and it's still holding strong so I'm not sure what kind of torture you put your old controller through. Hopefully your new controllers will keep you playing well into the future
