I've only just discovered how many issues there have been with this play service. For once feeling the wrath first hand.
Ive literally been trying to link my xbox account to a uplay account for 2 hours now I'm gonna lose my mind here!!! Ive been with uplay ever since the enforced it. However when entering the information I though was my account there had been no record of existence. (even though i get rewards and all that stuff) So I proceed to make a new account with the correct info, only to get to the last step and I can't link my account WTF IS THISSS!?!? For the love of god I just want to link my xbox live account so i can use the mobile app. Every time i go to click the link account button the page just refreshes and nothing happens... Ive tried clicking the Facebook and PSN +Link Account buttons and a little pop up window appears. However the same little window does not appear for the xbox live account. If anyone out there can help me please.... I don't even want to play watch dogs anymore this whole uplay experience has just ruined everything for me. ****![]()

The Xbox Live authentication process is different to the Facebook and PSN ones. Instead of opening a pop-up window, you get redirected to the Microsoft website to log in to your live account. Unfortunately this process can be blocked by various plugins/addons in your browser, so you may need to either 1 - temporarily disable your plugins, 2 - use a browser with no plugins installed (often people use Internet Explorer for this), or 3 - switch your browser to incognito/InPrivate mode (unless you have changed the settings this will automatically disable all plugins/addons

I am unable to link my Xbox Live Gamer Tag to my Uplay account. The PC client for Uplay is next to useless for things like this, offering no real account management options. And the website is a complete disaster right now. Nearly EVERYTHING redirects me to the page for their E3 live coverage. I can't access my account information and settings because I'm redirected every time I click Edit. Even support and FAQ pages redirect to the E3 coverage. It's completely ridiculous. Is there a way around this redirect?
Edit: When I tried to play Watch Dogs on my 360 I got an error message that stated it was unable to connect to Uplay because of "missing fields". I never got a prompt for login info, just that message. That's what originally sent me to the website to login and check everything.
