Device Transfer?
Hello forum. Bit stuck. Been playing Frontier on my iphone for a while and its all linked up with my uplay account. Just been gettin a Samsung S5 and im wanting to continue my game on that. Thought that by linking it to uPlay would transfer the game data but it dont. Any ideas?

I'm no expert on these matters, but in my opinion you gotta look at it like android and ios are two different platforms. It would be kind of like wanting to transfer your save game progress from Xbone to PS4, they are two different systems and transfer is not possible.

They're looking into it, but don't get your hopes up. It's technically possible, but who knows what goes into it. I would imagine all they'd have to do is copy basic data (xp, money, upgrades, etc.) to uplay to recreate it on either platform. Kinda how NES games were prior to saves; you'd enter a code to continue with your items and whatnot. Of course, the user wouldn't have to enter a code for Frontier.
