Profiler Stopped Working (Xbox One) | Forums

My campaign is glitched to the point where the game is unplayable. My Profiler doesn't work, I'm unable to hack anything, and all of the skills I've unlocked do not seem to work either, despite my skilltree showing them as unlocked.

It happened randomly after exiting a private lobby of Decryption. I've tried reloading from the last Auto-Save, closing the game out from the Home menu, and turning my Xbox off - nothing seems to be working. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

Im in the same boat i cant even hack Maurice's cell phone, i press X the profiler shows up and then slowly goes away, when I hold X is does absolutely nothing

is this a glitch or?

I just posted about this in another thread and it helps knowing I'm not on this boat by myself. This is really annoying and irritating. So much of the game (if not the whole game) revolves around the Profiler/Hacking. What's the point in even trying to play this game if that doesn't work? I'm not trying to nag too much, but it's just really irritating and disappointing considering I've been waiting to play this game for a while. Went to a midnight release, and even bought the season pass...and here I am, trying to have fun by checking in to locations and driving around aimlessly. If you're having the same issues I'm having, You can't use anything related to the profiler and damn near anything that requires "X" to interact, you can't get online, and you can't see your hideout on the map. Idk, I'm just really disappointed right now and hope they fix this really soon.

This a good game, and I know it is...but when things like this happen, you can't help but to let it taint your perception of it a bit. I hope they fix this before I start to feel like I just don't want to play it anymore and just end up returning it

Hey guys, I'm having the same glitch on Xbox one. Profiler is broken, can't even hack anything so game is basically ****ed! This is unacceptable guys, no need to be nice about the fact that I have to restart my game. It's ********. I too, left a random private lobby of decryption and now it's glitches or whatver. Glad to know I'm not the only one but BOO UBISOFT! Boo!

Definitely a glitch. A game breaking one at that. There were reported cases of this happening during the beta as well.

Now I can't play the game because in order to complete the mission I'm on, I need to use the Profiler. I refuse to start the game over. I'm loving the game so far but I may just return it to Gamestop until I know this has been addressed and fixed.

It's a random glitch so there's no telling if it'll happen again on a new save file. I'm very disappointed in Ubisoft right now.

i'm also having the same problem. any word on a fix of some kind. unable to play at all without the profilier cause u need it for campaign mode

Same thing happened to me. It happened to me after a game of decryption. I came back to the single player and suddenly the profiler doesn't do anything. I can't interact with civilians outside of the missions, and inside of the mission I can't interact with any mission hackable objects that are necessary to complete it. Getting killed, restarting the game, closing the application and restarting the console do nothing. I also cannot enter multiplayer, it's telling me to unlock the modes again. I'm also on Xbox One.

It's pretty game breaking, as others have said.

Yeah, I don't even want to restart. I would if I thought it would help but I'm afraid it'll just happen again, making it pointless. Just going to wait for a patch that will hopefully come eventually.

still broken...i want to be able to play or my money back. i was also in encryption on xbox one when this happened. find it coders!
