Hey all. Despite my limited 19 years of life, I'm a LONG time gamer, familiar with everything from the Magnavox Odyssey to 3DS. I am, however, new to Ubisoft, and relatively new to PC games in general; Far Cry 3 is my second Ubisoft game (following Assassins Creed 2) and my fifth PC game (following StarCraft, Left 4 Dead and their sequels). So far I am thoroughly impressed. Far Cry 3 is ranked quite high on my extensive list of played video games.

    Hi and bye I'm afraid.

I've been playing video games since the 70's and always preferred home computer based stuff for the control and freedom. If one was ever peeved off you could simply write your own games, or in a lot of cases fix what was up with others. I'd rather try to repair something than yell at it a lot.

It's quite like back when you had tape decks you could manipulate audio and stuff, but with CD players you ended up a captive audience limited by your wallet rather than your imagination.

I've never been one for joining communities unless it was regarding something I really enjoyed. i came here alas because I had nothing but problems and criticism unfortunately. I'm spending more time here than I am enjoying the game which is quite absurd when i dropped a serious amount of money on the hardware manufacturer who was sponsoring it.

More fool me of course, but I don't tend to let that happen twice. I never bought another EA title since the rushed out abomination that was Battlefield 2. At least that company though appologised, and didn't remain silent on issues. Personally I prefer the small indie labels who listen to reason and come up wit some real gems, just like Crytek did almost a decade ago.

Back to my audio analogy, it's as simple as either buying those dire mass produced girl/boy band CD's or seeking out a cassette from some unknown upcoming star.

I must say though that this community has been very polite and open minded tolerating someone as outspoken as myself so I leave here knowing not every corner of the net is crowded with hooligans

I'll play Deathmatch from time to time when it works so if you see me then say hi. You can sometimes catch me in counter-strike too which has bee an ongoing thing for me over 15 years - it is after all one of those things a community built out of the love for being able to have control of it.

In a way the multipayer here reminds me of the good old days using a 56k modem. In a way one of those granted you as much kudos as a pair of high end video cards today

Hello! Just finished FC3 today, and I'm taking to the internet to express my appreciation of the game, particularly the story and particularly Vaas. I even got a friend of mine in the UK to track down some of the bobbleheads for me... They arrived today.

Anyways, I'm usually not into straight-up shooters, but the webseries with McLovin totally sold me, and I loved the game. Well, I loved the first island more, I have to admit. Michael Mando is amazing.

LOL, this game is man made program and it is not prefect at all. Very complex program to fix the bug. it will take a while to smooth it out.

Warning, old *edit* on the loose.

    Hello All
    I'm Adrian and I'm old :-)
In game i'm Rebuildax cos someone still has Rebuilda registered from FC1 and has forgotten his passwords...
Played FC1 to death, after I finished the single player game I discovered online gaming for the first time and have played ever since. Still drop in for a quick game on the odd evening.

FC2 came out and I didn't get on with that one so well, truth be told I got sidetracked by a G25 and TDU.

When my mate Tim said he was moving to France to work for Ubisoft I jokingly asked him to make another FC game like FC1 and although I have no idea if he had anything to do with the game construction I certainly got my wish.
I'm loving this game, top marks Ubisoft. Single player had me on the edge of my seat everytime I had to climb those radio towers, I have spent hours running up mountains to have another go in the hang gliders and equally spent hours hooning around in the Buggy which I might add handles better than most of the cars in TDU2, Nearing the end of single player and confident I had my hand back on the trigger I joined a co-oip match and have been addicted ever since. You'll find me on one of the co-op games most nights, dont care which one or what level it's set to, I enjoy the team spirit and of course blowing stuff up (don't we all)

I have voice comms but it seems few people use it to its full extent, I prefer a stealthy approach rather than charging in all guns blazing but also take pride in being able to get those long range kills with a P416 or even the Vector.
Add me if you wish, I'm old and don't have many in game friends, mostly my workmates use Xbox and I'm a PC gamer.
Think thats enough to scare most people off

So this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside-down, so I'd like to take a minute just to sit right there to tell you how I became an angry man sat in a chair.

In west-midlands UK, born and raised, on a console is where I spent most of my days, street fighter, mario, games that are cool, shooting out pixels and racing like a fool, when a games company who were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood, they made one little game and I got quite scarred and said I'm gonna send some messages about how my life's hard.

I signed up on the forums and my profile is there, my name's in the corner and I've got an avatar, if anything I could say this profile has flare but I though nah forget it, and corrected my hair.

I looked through some forums about 7 or 8 and I found lots of people were really irate, the game doesn't do what they think would be great and the lack of responses made me start to hate.

So I looked round my room, I'm finally there, Far Cry 3 has made me an angry man in a chair!

Been enjoying browsing the FC3 forums so I may as well ante up. I'm just a grouchy old semi-retired life-long coder and forever gamer from the states. Been modding on the side too since DOOM wads if that tells you anything. I'm totally loving the s##t out of FC3 !
