Have you fixed the issue 100%?


If you can post the following -- I'll pass this info onto the team so others know and they can correct it!

Country + Format:
(eg. United States - PS4, disc)

(How often is it mentioned. How often does it happen to you?)

Since when does it happen:
(This helps identify if a patch or DLC is the source of the bug)

Describe what is the issue encountered:
(Activation the game? / Problem launching the game? / Issue with a specific part of the game Mutliplayer? / But can you still access solo? )

Define the Flow of the error:

The game can't launch because of an error, online and offline uplay mode.

As soon as I try to launch the game through Steam, manually or Uplay, i am greeted by this error when the Watch_Dogs splash screen appear, after that, the game closes :

I tried this solution.

[SOLVED]:
1. copy all files from the bin folder in watch dogs (usually here:C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Watch_Dogs\bin)
into the watch_dogs folder.
2. delete the files from the bin folder (not the folder itself)
3. start uplay
4. when uplay is running, start the watch_dogs.exe directly from the watch_dogs folder.
!!!important!!! if you hit "play" in uplay the game wont start!! see step 4!
again, thanks to sentunesys! you saved the day man!

But the game gives the same error.
Then, I ran Uplay offline. After 3-5 attempts. Game starts. However, after the game starts. She immediately crashes / / minimized window. All drivers updated. Installation errors were not. Game is not working. Gives earlier error . Unable to find supported text language.

problem launching on launch i get "Unable to find supported text language"

(boot through steam > log into uplay > click play on watch dogs > window pops up saying "unable to find supported text language" > click ok then closes down the game)

All solutions In this thread have failed me. I cant get the game working.

Problem launching the game / cannot access solo

I launch the game by steam, it launches uplay and when I click on play it synchronize the save file and then it says "unable to find supported text language" in an error window

so my workaround seems to work only for people who installed directly from uplay.

@mods: could you ask your tech geeks how the installer decides where to install game files? i think thats the time when things go south, when
the installer chooses the 32bit environment instead of the correct 64bit one.

P.S. we are registered customers here and still have to do image verification to post? seriously?!
