I -really- want some of my custom tracks to be deleted.

    Making a 2nd thread since I don't find the 1st.

I'm so much ****** pissed off by this game. I published a ninja track yesterday, but the difficulty is Medium. Why ? Just 'cause I set the difficulty on "extreme", and game set it back to "medium" by himself. The results are that I received a couple messages saying "your track isn't medium it's extreme" or "why is it a medium if the obstacles aren't". And since we still can't wipe out our own tracks, now I have a impossible track with 1.5k downloads (The fixed track has less than 100) and a ninja track with medium setting.

And don't say "verify if everything is okay before publishing, it's not that hard" because I don't give a single **** to this kind of argument. Adding a "delete track" option is not that hard too.

Deleting your own track will never be possible, for reasons already explained on the forum somewhere.

And even if you don't like the argument, it's still valid... The last page before you click share shows you all the information of your track (title, difficulty, tags, medal times). It's not hard to take 10s there to check if everything is correct...

It will never happen and it should never happen. The negatives of doing this far outweigh the miniscule positives.

You can politely request that someone like Shifty remove your track if you have a case, but other than that there's nothing you can do and best not to burn your bridges out of frustration.

How about an option to change difficultysettings if creator finds out that it was in wrong category? I enjoyed this game very much, but if I can 0 fault most Extremes in the game and single digit on inferno, I should be able to finish a medium/hard track. If players download and try out tracks they cant finish it gets boring pretty quick, and they might not try out other map from this creator and, so not good for any parties. Im guessing some of the brilliant creators would like as many People as possible to play them, so pls try to put tracks in correct category according to the game and not Your own skill. I do believe that will make TC more fun for most players.

Some ninjas are just made in 10 minutes and look terrible, but yet they get positive votes. Wonder why......

Something similar happened to me on my Cyntus track. I set medal times and it ended up resetting to the default times and amount of medals.

Yup I understand that I can be more polite but I asked it nicely for one of my tracks, and I just got ignored. Plus since we mentioned this idea (And also the "being able to edit options after publishing" thing) tons of times on the Wishlist thread... At last you have to add the long list of known gameplay/editor bugs, and the recipe of maximum frustration is complete.

It has been reported that updating the description of a track resets the medal times. I would suggest that it mat also reset the difficulty? Best advice is to check all the track settings prior to upload.

Once you're completely done tweaking your track and setting the medal times just Re-Save your track then "Share track" after.
Got to save it first before you share or it resets medal times.
