The Problem with the comparsion between Trails Fusion and Titanfall is that Titanfall had a lot of Content before and needs only minor updates.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I bought Trials Fusion for the XBox One at the Release. I did get a game with a obvious lack of Content compared to Trails Evolution for 25% more Money.
Personally I bought it for the Online-Multiplayer which was in the Trailers but somehow "didn´t make it in the game.Yes, it will come someday but as a Customer who paid 20€ I feel betrayed.
Less content,no Online-MP and no sign how or when it will change.
Let me guess - I should even pay for more SP Content as well...
I know it wasn´t your fault to release a half-finished game, but as a year-long Fan I´m just frustrated.
rocksmith would be a better example as it is multiplat with sony and also use uplay
the way it was done is after release they had several "small" patches every so often to fix bugs and consoles then got these patches in bigger bundles
they also did steam beta(or maybe through uplay) sometimes to test these patches in public, don't know the exact details of how this was done because i didn't participate in those but have some friends who did
Thanks for the insights En0. I really appreciate your efforts of communicating this much with us, since it is not your job to do so. And I'm sure others appreciate it too!
My comparison with titanfall was just to show a community won't be mad because one platform is patched sooner than the other. From what you are saying I'm assuming this patch will probably contain some major changes (like adding new features like tournaments) and yes I agree you can't really compare it then. But patches with just fixes should defenitly be possible (as you say you will be doing after the big patch)Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I first tought of suggesting something like that but tought this wouldn't be possible on uplay. Hearing you guy's are thinking about it is great! Specially if there is alot of time between patches at least people with major problems will have a bigger chance of playing a more stable version of the game.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I agree, at PC launch alot of people where unhappy/angry (me included). We already had to wait a week longer for the game and then the game was not there when promised. But I think not telling us in the official announcement official thread there was a small delay caused more people to be angry than the delay itself. Specially if there is a specific time announced for a release and it is delayed somebody should inform the customers as soon as possible of this delay. There where also already people streaming the game at that time, and even the day before the launch some people already had their key from websites and where streaming the game. So everybody saw the game was ready, the official announced time was passed and nobody giving us any information about it. I'm sure you can understand how this frustrated alot of people who where waiting to play the game.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
Greetings,
En0 your responses are appreciated, but I have just one question...
Ubisoft employ Community Managers and they get paid for what exactly? Should it not be the job of the community manger to relate information to the community?
So either you deserve a pay rise/job title change or the community managers are not doing what they are employed to do.
Our community managers are amazing and they do a ton of things I am clearly not able to do (events organization, streaming animation, videos etc...). Their job doesn't stop to "communicate on the forum", it's actually a really small part. They also give us a lot of information that saves us a lot of time as we don't need to look for it. For example, when we are designing something, we always ask them to challenge us as they know better than us how the community would react. I am in touch with them almost daily. We couldn't do this game without them.
The reason why I give those information myself, it's first because they are PC related and that's one of my main responsibility. I sit next to BenSherman and we work together to support the PC community. However, he has other duties as well, so I help him. As I said previously, closer the devs and the community will be, better it will be for everyone. However, I can't read and answer everything, so I try to focus on 2 things: making us as reactive as possible on PC technical problems and answering some polemic questions, especially the PC ones that are mainly related to my decisions. The PC community is a small part of the whole Trials community, so when I take care of this part (and that can be quite long as my post are rarely small), community managers can focus on things that are important for the whole community, consoles players and PC players.
Also, as said previously, I really believe when Sebbi, Mutetus, I or other devs answers, the community appreciates and it helps to keep the dialog constructive and make the forum a better place. Finally, according to me, one of the reason of the success of Trials team is they are truly passionate about what they are doing, job title doesn't really matter, what matters is to work hard to do the best possible game. The solidarity inside the team, whatever is your job title, is key. That's clearly the team with the best behavior I ever worked with and the proximity with community managers makes a huge difference. Also, I expect to post much less when things will be smoother (updates will come regularly, technical problems will be less frequent, our roadmap will be more transparent, etc...).
Everyone has to stop with the overwhelming negativity so the devs aren't so apprehensive with giving us news.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I don't think the negativity comes when they give us news, it's just the opposite imo...Like the for the PC launch the thread said an exact time, this was delayed but nobody from RL took the time to tell people in that thread it was actually delayed.Originally Posted by TheeDesecrator Go to original post
