Ha! And I did mention that I play Fusion in bed in some other thread sometime in the past couple weeks. It works great. With my old b/g router I got a little stutter here and there, but I just got a new router last week and it's nice and smooth 100% of the time. I love it. I just can't play any tracks that require easing on the throttle without much frustration.Originally Posted by D2Dahaka Go to original post
Frontier is free-to-play, and they aren't forcing anyone to play it. It is dumb, though.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
If I buy a game, I expect to be able to unlock everything in the game I bought. Not needing to play a different game on a different platform that I don't even have.Originally Posted by stllbreathnbdy Go to original post

A lot of you seem to have the wrong idea about Trials Frontier, its exclusivity to mobile, and the fact that you need it to unlock the special rider suit in Fusion. Playing both games to unlock the costume set is the entire point and purpose. The Hero suit is not just a costume set but also a reward for playing a good way into both games and completing tough challenges. Trials Fusion and Trials Frontier are partner games meant to be enjoyed together and we've known this since the first announcement at E3 last year. This type of cross-game play should have been expected. They could have just stuck a little dot on your profile that indicates you stepped into the light but they said "Eh, hey, here's a bonus costume for your hard work". Is it unfair that you can't play Frontier because you don't own the device necessary to play? Maybe, in a technical sense, but couldn't the same be said of all videogames?
I don't understand why they were giving it away in a Facebook promotion. I think that's ridiculous and defeats the entire purpose of earning it. I kinda like what Smilies was saying about unlocking stuff through alternative means like getting many downloads on your stuff in the Track Central but I think that would be best saved for a free future update with different outfits/bikes. Let the Hero suit be as it is and give us new challenges for similar flashy items.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the do the same with the Donkey in Evo? That you had to own HD to unlock the Donkey in Evo?Originally Posted by bassline001 Go to original post
Yup. And pokemon does it every time. It's nothing new.Originally Posted by Rishaan Go to original post
Very good point.Originally Posted by Rishaan Go to original post
you can always make suggestions on how to make it betterOriginally Posted by morrillo Go to original postthey already are kinda crossplatform so they can add features now
I suggest they remove Step into the light and add it under an extras menu. Use the space on the front end for MP / tournaments.Originally Posted by sparkierjonesz Go to original post
