@Sparky, every game that's speedruns has either skips, glitches or exploits to do the game faster, Thats the essence of speedrunning and what its all about, This is no different with trials and bailing out at 200m on skill games, being the fastest way to unlock the maximum medals and add towards unlocking more chapters. I'm talking about Fusion runs in general, not just sandys variant.

Bassline can I ask where you asked?. Was It SpeedDemosArchive?

Eitherway fair enough,
I still remain by what I said.

However I would like you to call this fusion catagory as,
NG+% or NewGame+%

Thats what I'll be referring it as in my Fusion Speedrun database and Info sections on my twitch

I am most definitely not trying to bury anything, It's cool that you guys on the 360 are doing this,
And can have some competition with each other from doing it.

You guys don't have to agree with it, But there is nothing wrong with me sharing my thoughts.

fair enough chap, my choice of word probably wasn't best - I guess as I've seen this conversation on here and twitch, the amount of discussion seemed disproportionate, but that's just the discussion in general.

as a complete outsider to speed runs it did all seem a bit OTT to me, but having read more and seen the discussion evolve I understand why it can be so emotive

I have tried three times, two of those times my xbox froze. But i did get a 49.xxx run on my other attempt.
I don't think ill be trying this much since my HDD is from the stone age and it takes me +- 30 seconds to load each track
