Is Ubisoft going to LISTEN and TALK to us this time around?

Or are we going to be flat out ignored like last time. And I'm not talking about the community managers, ect. I know you guys do the best you can. I'm talking about the near black out on ANY type of information. Here's the drill Ubisoft, you guys seriously dropped the ball with both MP and community last time around. You owe your most dedicated fans. Fans who are stupidly still here with you getting excited for a new Far Cry. You owe us a functioning map editor. You owe us a FAST announcement that the map editor is indeed in and has NOT been scaled back. TALK TO US about what we want in regards to hosting. TALK TO US about the features your adding and ASK us if we even want them in the first place. Battle Cry's were simply ridiculous and unasked for and took away from a major part of what makes FC MP fun. Ubisoft, you've proven time and time again that you can make a GREAT SP game. You've also proven that you are absolutely incapable of identifying the features we like best about MP. But guess what? We DO know what we like about MP! LISTEN TO US!! Talk to us!! Respond with ACTUAL INFORMATION!

I don't even know why I'm bothering with this. It's just gonna be ignored. I'll bet they cut the map editor because it "discourages team play". Yeah, that was a gem of an excuse for vehicles Ubi. What'll the next excuse be?

I hope the xbox1 will have dedicated servers for this game.I don't think far cry 4 will be good for the 360 due to hosting and partys...

Certainly not people who like quality MP. Even in the amazing FCIP the actual MP was below average compared to the most popular MP games out there. It's the amazing map editor that makes stupid people like me play the increasingly worse MP. Regrettably the MP in FC3 was so terrible I only made 2 maps in FC3 compared to 100+ in FCIP/FC2.

I would be interested to hear the differences between the various platforms, 360 and PS3 versions I expect to be dumbed down and restricted as Far Cry 3 was - where I hope that the PS4 and Xbox 1 versions will be close to the PC version where graphics are concerned - if the game has an editor then I would hope again that the newer consoles don't have the restrictions we have been used to with FC3 - with the speed that the game is coming out I expect it to be more of the same in single player with some extras, it should be a fun game.

It would be a good move if they could allow cross sharing of maps between PC / Xbox 1 / PS4 and also with 360 and PS3Multiplayer I also hope they have taken out the Team Support Strikes and Battle Cries from actual MP games although the Battle Cry system worked very well in COOP.I expect vehicles and lots of them - after the backlash with them missing in FC3 they surely would not make that mistake again. If we get vehicles and there is an editor I would expect bigger maps so there would be a need to have a limited number of weapons placed at key locations in maps because in FC3 weapons run out so fast so it makes sense to either use something like the ammo crate refills from FC2 or to have weapon placement in maps. They killed FC3 MP because players could not control the hosting, we need lobbies like in FC2 & they will be more than aware of this so again I can't see them been so foolish because a lobby with hosting options where we control what sides we are on in the match - what modes we want to play and the length of time in a match would have kept us a lot happier.

The best thing they can do is give us enough choices and options & freedom so that we can play the game the way we want but at the same time make it fun, If a team is dominating a match then they should be allowed to win that game and get to the lobby because with FC3 it was a slow agonizing match when on the losing side and an embarassment on the winning side having to play out most matches until the time runs out - To be able to set to 50 or 100 kills would be a better move.I don't expect them to open up and ask what we want, they will have people that do research and collect info from these forums on issues and problems so it should be a matter of damage limitation in trying to make sure they tick the boxes for what people wanted last time around (I hope) as for the team working on the multiplayer I am sure they will add their own twist and do some things their way - It can't be as broken as what FC3 was surely - My own opinion is that it would be great if they said "right we have a situation where we can give you things like this but do you want them?"Or "we can give you theso options to tinker with would you use them ?" I would have loved a crazy MP mode that allowed the wingsuit from FC3 where you didn't die if you hit things at speed, imagine the insane maps people could have made and the fun that would be.

The answer is no. Ubisoft won't listen to us, after FC3, I bought SC:Blacklist. I bought the most expensive edition (5th freedom edition), but I did another big mistake because i shouldn't have trusted them after FC3... The SP was better than SC:Conviction, but guess what? The MP sucked at the same way of FC3.
Broken matchmaking, broken host migration, lag, bugs, etc.
I would like to boycott ubisoft but unfortunately this shameful company has my favourite franchises in his hands, so I will only buy Uplay keys from some website.

Will I hate to correct you, but Ubisoft does collect feedback based on previous games..

However - gamer development is not by public committee - else nothing would get done.

They do take the feedback seriously though and try to make sure changes happen, if possible - however the game is normally pretty fair into development, when announced, so people posting suggestions now, are bound to be disappointed.

Feedback is collected regularly after each release, so if people have made suggestions in the past, they will have seen them - plus the teams constantly read the forums, even if they are not posting.

I will make sure I remind them about detailing the Map Editor, should one be included.. [and no that's not saying it's not - just nothing has been said so far ]

Don't forget to bring up the Custom Lobbies, Vehicles, correct testing in the editor (make it multiplayer dimensions, not single player so we can correctly test run the maps), and a better tunneling tool like the one used in project spark, if i remember right, the engine is supposed to be upgraded this time around so hopefully it can handle it.

I could go on and on about things that need improvement with the game. So if I don't hear anything on the muiltiplayer improvements soon (same time or sooner than Single player.), ill take it as bad news, because that's pretty much what they did with 3 and the game ended up dying about 3 years sooner than it's predecessor. So hopefully they don't keep heading the wrong direction with development, because my interest has been slipping, to the point where i wasn't even excited when i saw the Far Cry 4 announcement...

I'm sure they would have learned from FarCry3's lobby system that it was messed up completely, I also think Ubi are going to add more focus on SinglePlayer missions being created in the IGE, so not only will you be able to download MP maps, but SP missions too, Would be an interesting decision
