hey guys, i was improving my little skillgame for more some weeks... would be nice to get some feedback before i upload this final version:
- i improved the mechanics, so i dont need fail areas anymore
- improved scoring system. do you understand what the bar on the left does? i hope thats not confusing to someone
- 30 skill rankings at the endsequence (you will also see them on replays, thanks to Jeruhnq for this idea!)
- easteregg (the rider is burning and cant die / burning endsequence)
- and some more small things

I'm not too sure on what the bar on the left does but i would guess its a score multiplier?
One idea that came to mind as I watched your video was maybe the fire could ignite before or as the game starts. reflecting on it i don't think it would have the same impact when the game loads. It was just a thought...
This is the problem were having people dont know what the bar on the left is because it does not have text above it. i could need some feedback / ideasthanks
first one is a little skillgame (tribute to the Water Mania tracks on evo i enjoyed very much) but a little different to the original.
the problem is i have to bailout to play it and cant activate checkpoints like that. so i have to build every single checkpoint by myself and got some problems with the B button tool.
im also struggling to get some ideas for physics based obstacles. should i add more explosives?
before you ask: no, i will not build it with a distance meter. people should try to speedrun it.
second one will be my first drivingline and im not sure if its good enough. maybe too easy?
the drivingline is also designed for different challenges (wheelie with the viper, bunnyhop with the baggie etc) so i cant change it too much.
i have no ideas what i want to do in the background.
the sun is annoying and i will change the scenery to night time. i just use day time in the editor (that new objects dont have 100% emission by default)

The Skill game looks allot of fun, as does the track. Great work..
An idea that came to me for the background of the track. Overlooking a quiet or abandoned steel works.. The only thing I can think of for the skill game is maybe some more moving custom obsticals to navigate with some bombs around them. You have pipes that look like they seal off the last area, maybe two larger pipes as pistons that would crush you if you don't jump through in time.
If you've already made the crushing obstical i may have missed it. my video was in 144p.
anyway there's my brain droppings, hope there's something helpful there lol...Thanks for sharing the video.

hey blackbirdi made some more physics obstacles for the skillgame like catapults, waterwheels, water fontain shooting cannons (i forgot to show that in the video) and i want to add some lava parts. i dont like short time limits, but maybe i can use this idea in a different way. thanks for the feedback.
