try dropping the shadow distance or the brightness of the sun a little . it looks like you have direct sunlight /trees/ glass with physics all in a confined area. . tbh it looks fine in the video and pretty sweet . i wouldnt take to much notice of a few frames dropping on the overlay . can you feel it when you ride . ?Originally Posted by Mentality15 Go to original post

I tried both of those and didn't see any improvement, though left them both a little lower just in case it had some small effect.Originally Posted by kidmpc Go to original post
Yep, all of them you can't ever run into are decoration only.Originally Posted by mutetus Go to original post
I'm convinced it is mainly caused by the sudden view distance increase. Fortunately the middle section is the only one that seems to always have the frame drop, the other two only have smaller ones once in a while (seemingly random). From my play testing it is not enough to affect my riding as you are almost always in the air, but it is visibly noticeable at times. Unless i can find a way to completely get rid of it I plan on releasing the track as is tomorrow.
Maybe it's better to reduce view/object distance on that part of the track then and maybe combine that with some environmental fog in the background if the reduced viewdistance cuts out things in the backgroundOriginally Posted by Mentality15 Go to original post
Thanks for all the help everyone, i've done as much as i can using every suggestion i got and eliminated most of the framerate issues, there is still a chance in the middle section for it to drop to 58-59 but its barely visible and doesn't affect the riding. I appreciate all the input and will be releasing the track soon, just need to make a final video and upload it.
Final track video will be posted here when it is uploaded (very soon).
