im happy you guys feel everything is good and enjoy the game.
it is strange tho that you cant understand that other players have issues.

We who complain dont try to convince anyone to not play or enjoy fusion,
While you on the other hand seem to be totaly ignorant and just brush off people who actually do have problems with the obvious flaws.

And yes, we who played earlier trials really got a basis for comparison. Go on and play and enjoy fusion,
but dont come in here and tell us that we dont have any reason to complain.

As With all games there are some issues, yes, but this game is not a failure(look the Word up). And the negativity you guys bring, is way over the top and just dramatizing and in no way a positive thing for this community!!

I like this game. Have several days playtime. Most friends I have like this game. There are more than 10 000 tracks in TC With lots of good ones.
Why would all those People make tracks if this game is a failure?

Most friends I have aren't too impressed with this game, and they've been playing Trials for years. If you wish to compete with friends, and play the latest builds, then we have no choice but to play Fusion.

Why are the 35 People frequenting i here more important than 99.98% of People playing this game?

They aren't. They, however, posted regularly, knew the series, and knew what made Trials the go-to game.

Have you considered that these 35 People that have flooded this forum With negativity the last weeks is the ones responsible for so few posts?

Maybe a little. These 35 you keep speaking of lived, breathed and married Trials, and are passionate about the series. I would say the irksome hassles one has to contend with whenever one wishes to post could have more to do with this.

Do you think a New player to this series could become good at it, or is it just the ones that played Trials before thats accepted by you Kings and Queens of the game?

Yes, anyone can become good, and fair play to anyone who enjoys it and sticks with it.Anyone who enjoys the game/s are accepted and welcomed by this community.

People enjoyed previous games, it didn't stop the forum being extremely busy a lot of the time.The irksome, un-user friendliness of the forum will probably be why so few post anymore.

Play HD, play Evo, then come back and tell me that Trials is still as good as it ever was, still retains that magic spark that kept us entertained and competitive for years.

People can make tracks, yes.... I make tracks. It is possible even if the game dont deliver as expected.


now, back to my point:
if you start a thread and say that you love fusion, and asking for other positive thoughts,
i would never come in there and tell you that you cant have that oppinion.

Just a few random paragraphs.

- You enjoy the game and that's great. Sure the negativity was way out of hand I agree, but that doesn't necessarily invalidate alot of the complaints. Perhaps you could start a thread about what you enjoy about the game instead of attacking others with off topic posts? That could be a very positive contribution to the community...fight fire with water instead of fuelling what you're against in the first place

- Hardcore Trials players make up about 10% of the playerbase (if trials developer Sebi's numbers are correct) not 99.98%. This 10% produce most of the quality content on track Central and will keep the game going for years to come as history will attest. It's not bad business to listen to the hardcore as they will add to the game's longevity and bring plenty to the table for the non hardcore to enjoy for years to come. In addition their experience helps pave the way for new creators to rapidly learn and add to the pool of quality content as time goes by. This forum used to be a lot busier once upon a time so don't assume that all of the hardcore players frequent the forums and that this tiny group of people are it and the only ones with issues.

- Just one other point...casuals, hardcore etc are just terms to describe how people approach the game and how much experience they have etc. We're all human beings and how much experience someone has with trials has no bearing on my attitude towards anyone and I assume most people here have that same attitude (I hope so anyway). Character is far more important than trials cred to me - thought I'd mention that in advance before the term elitist gets thrown up again by someone.

- If you think we're an isolated group, try checking out some of the other Ubisoft forums (Watchdogs for example) seems to be alot of unhappy customers across the board for whatever reason.

@skinnsofa - didnt call it a bad game, I called it a failed attempt and it is. Surely the aim was to at least be better than Evo.
(brace yourself for the same crap thats been said on repeat for the last month)

a basically game-breaking glitch (fmx), more broken scores/leaderboards, was released unfinished (mp, tournies), track central has taken half a step forward and about 20 backwards, less customization, less overall content, less technical tracks, less variation etc etc it's all been said a million times - if that counts as anything but a failure their standards are too low.

I didn't mean to sound all elitist about it, everyone's opinion on the game should matter - but prioritizing casual players over a loyal fanbase (which is the case with Fusion and I'd love to see someone try and argue otherwise) will AND SHOULD only result in backlash.

Trials HD was going strong after a year, so was Evo - it's been 5 or 6 weeks and the activity on here is a fraction of what it used to be. The hardcore players are the ones that keep the game going competitively and creatively, if they've lost us already Fusion will be flat in a few months when the half-interested people move onto the next shooter or zombie game.

The dlc will still sell okay though and they can stick Rayman on the cover of Fusion 2, so no worries

Most friends I have are disappointed with the game. People who have 15+ days of play time on Evo. Those people are making tracks because:

1. Fusion is the latest Trials, so it will have the largest population of people to play their tracks.

2. Trials is a fun game. Even with all that's wrong with Fusion, people can look past it and enjoy what's done right. These people tend to have little experience with previous Trials games, and are unaware of how many ways Fusion falls short.

I don't know where you're getting 35 from. Or 99.98%. The fact is that many of the veteran community members have gone quiet because:

1. The forums were changed for no constructive reason, and we only got an announcement the day they decided to migrate. They chose to keep us in the dark. So we now have to use a forum ran by the company that many of us despise for ruining good games: and it looks like Trials was Ubisoft's next target.

2. Redlynx finally releases a mobile version of Trials, and it is a free to play nightmare designed to take your money 1st, and be an enjoyable experience 2nd. This showed us the direction they were going, and what they were willing to do to make money.

3. Fusion is released an unfinished mess, with features that Evo has missing, and a plethora of glitches/bugs.

The state of the game and the decisions that Redlynx has made is why the activity on the forums is so low, not because of the negativity that the community expresses.

Of course new people can get good. We were all new at one time.

No. People loved Evo and HD, and that's why the forums were so active.

The game is a failure. I won't go over all the other valid points made in previous posts.

For me the main reason the game fails is the requirement to be constantly connected to Uplay servers in order for the leaderboards to work. No Uplay connection there is no point playing as no time is recorded/saved and there is no way to know if you have beaten a previous time on a track due to no Uplay connection. Same for TC, no local storage of tracks... Stupid idea!

So when I return home from work this evening and if the Uplay servers are still down I'll be requesting, no demanding, 3 refunds as the game is not fit for purpose and unplayable with no Uplay connection!

I also will not be buying any other Trails game released by RedLynx as the involvement of Ubisoft is a game killer.

And some of us are still waiting for Trials Evolution Gold Edition to be fixed, which has been out for how long....

I'm waiting for the inclusion of an assassins creed outfit. It will definitely happen knowing Ubi.

First time in nearly 2 weeks I've formed up fusion

Ubi servers can't connect so...
No track central
No leaderboards
No single player times recorded

Turned it off again

I'm no longer angry... just disappointed
Even if I really wanted to play the game.. I cant
