you´re right but FMX was also planned to be fair and now we have coffin runs(which don´t bothers me much cause i´m bad anyway=)

Customization options are for visual differences only.

Thankfully: because if they did make a difference and there wasn't a level playing field in Trials then this game would be completely over for most of us. The attraction is that it is rider skill not upgrades that set us apart from each other, and set Trials apart from any mainstream racing game.
Change this and you've broken the game imo.

Agreed. then it would be, "whoever has the most money to spend to purchase the best upgrades for your bike gets the faster times". If that ever happened = Bye bye Trials.
