ANBA could have been so much better.
Its killing me with the way it cycles between the same 5-6 tracks (and when you've skipped that track before...the same opponents on those tracks). There is no variety here.
There are some tracks (Balance Avenue, Hilltop Ghetto, Casino Rooftops) where I may never repeat my performance again. . .and of course those are the ones he keeps picking on. And if I DO beat them, I know he is just going to concentrate on that track again...just with an even worse opponent. Not exactly a blueprint for enjoyable play, due to low variety. You can be challenging AND have variety, you know?
Okay, I get it; they pick your worst tracks and concentrate on them; I can live with that I guess. But cant you at least:
- take the time to notice that I've SKIPPED a track. . .probably for a good reason...and dont come back for another 20 tries, or something?
- Increase your pool of track choices; not just my worst 5-6 tracks, but maybe the worst 20-30? If nothing else, I'd be getting some variety of play as I bang my head against the wall. . . .
RL, if you cant take the time to write a decent ANBA track-selection algorithm that is more enjoyable to your customer-base... at least stop jabbing me in the eye with your excessive 10-gem opponent-skip costs while I do hop between the same 6 tracks! Arrgh...
Now I understand why the majority of the Tier3 leaderboards are RipTides; the easy stuff is done, and its going to take forever to get the Berserker blueprints. I am playing like a demon, and 5 swamp-tracks into ANBA (half-way through the Deep Net quest-line) and have only gotten 5 of the 20 blueprint pieces. Had to skip 2 of them in other attempts; some of those blueprint pieces are SOOOO small on the wheel; back when I had a ton of gems, I paid for 3 wheel improvements. . . and after 3 improvements it was only about 1/8 of the wheel! Sucks...makes it seem like upgrading RipTide is more cost-effective (even though in my heart I know thats not the best deal)
i complete agree about anba. im so glad im done with that storyline because it frustrated me so much putting me on the tracks that are the hardest for me over and over just because i only had silver on them. I got lucky to get those silvers in the first place and asking me to improve on them is a major task.
i think ANBA, the excessively long upgrade times, and the forced upgrades of the riptide is why that bike is used so much. I cant believe the force you to get that thing up to level 3.
Are you meaning getting the riptide to level 3? Cause my current mission is to get it to 4/5/5/5. It's going to be a week before I can afford to upgrade any other bike. Also I was glad when I ranked 6th on Quagmire cause I knew I wouldn't get it from Anba again... 2 tracks later I got it again! Thankfully I don't need to get anything else from Anba, but I don't know how I'm going to get enough money without him for all these upgrades.Originally Posted by sriskus Go to original post

I cant believe there is another one after that! jeez. 4/5/5/5 no one everyone uses it.
