Is anyone able to explain what has happened to the leaderboards? I'm seeing massive shifts in scoring.

I was at ~280 globally and then dropped to 32,000+ yet I am well into tier 3, have 30+ plats, and have times comparable to friends in the top 100.

What gives?

my guess is that they are changing as each player upgrades to the new patch with the tweak in ranking. You will probably see your rank fluctuate for a while until everything stabilizes.

The same happened to me. I was 208 2 days ago, now 11,000+
Some sort of bug?

Same here as well. I went from 150-200 to above 20000 yesterday. Somehow doesn't seem right as I have a high number of platinum medals.

Best guess.... Now the leaderboard is based on overall TIME, and not some arbitrary plat score that is usually 3-4 seconds off WR pace. Just barely making all your plats isn't going to keep you up there now; you need to be more consistent across all tracks.

I was happy to see myself up there; being top-50 is my goal...no more...but I was a little surprised I moved up like I did. Figured its still early....the horde of avid Trials beta-testers are just warming up, I think.

It would be nice to get a detailed description of how the scoring algorithm works; hope we get one.

yeah i was just hoping to get to top 100. When the update first took and it shot me from top 300 to 3000+ i was sad. Then it shot me up to like 15 or something and i got even more sad because i realized how broken they still are and i have no idea where I am supposed to be because I am definitely not that high. Even now at 47 it doesnt feel right because i barely have any t1 platinums yet.

also it seems each time i improve a time my ranking is actually dropping. I was 46 earlier and right after getting a platinum i moved down to 47. It could just be a coincidence but ive noticed it happening each time I improve a track.

Why aren't best track times you've gotten when uplay is off synced to the leaderboard the next time you connect to uplay?
