Does anyone have a video of apdenton1's track? I really want to check it out, but I've only got Fusion on the Xbox One....
On Evolution I remember all your other FPS, and they were definitely the best out their. They were a real inspiration to me showing what could really be accomplished with the Editor!
Keep up all the amazing work!

Thanks, but I am retired from Trials now. The limitations are too great. I started working on a mod for a PC game not long after evo released and I'm still working on it now. With Fusion you can only do a months work at most and then you have to stop because complexity/file size limit, which is a shame because it's so easy to use the editor and be a jack of all trades. That and the engine is not suited to physics-based FPS but the engine improvements in Fusion make it do-able. And of course you cannot import custom assets, and even adding text to a game is a pain (using the letters helps over planks o' wood in evo though).
And yeah, a vid would be great. I don't have the means to make one myself otherwise I would. It's a solid improvement over my Evo games.
Hey apdenton1,
I don't know if you still come on this Forum anymore, but CannibalShogun and BlueBadger played From the Machine last week!
In case you missed it here is a link to the Twitch stream --> http://www.twitch.tv/redlynxofficial/b/548741361
They start playing it at 1:29:20.
Awesome job dude! Looks amazing, and I can tell countless hours went into the making of it. Guns look amazing, with real attention to detail. I would play it through and through if I had Fusion on the 360. Definitely the best Skillgame out there. 99999999999999* Stars
Hope you still are around, you're a real inspiration! Best of luck on your future endeavors.

P.S. Quick question; Did you use a physics based hit detection for your bullets? Also how big was your Physics Bubble?
Lol they got stuck on a mesh. That's not my doing that's yours, Redlynx!
"Keep it up"
-das
I'm done here! The editor won't allow me to make bigger & better games.
Thanks again though, you helped me with the coding of skill games early on.
"how did he make this".
-Cannibal Shogun
What? I learnt the basic and intermediate level stuff from watching your tutorials dude. you were just reading from a script I guess. dasraiser helped with advanced (in Trials evolution anyway). I miss you and your knowledge bro come back and finish Deus Ex GEP and help me become a master of code!.
Oh, it was BlueBadger that said this, apologies.
"Noise is irritating"
-Badger and Shogun
Yeah perhaps. I needed to make it feel as if you were really controlling a robot. The original, intended sfx for this was not so irritating but the sound sources are buggy and this was the result. Still, it's something that should have had an option to disable though.
And damn it you were meant to kick the footballs into the goal, not push them! You missed the target range too. Bad design? No, old school design. You're meant to observe your surroundings and be cautious, but if you game 2 guys 1 couch there's always going to be a disconnect with the game on some level as you're not giving the game your full attention. Even more so if you are recording for an audience too.
*Mumble mumble groan* ducking dubstep *mumble groan*.
I felt like I was watching PewDiePie, an older version, such is your style of commentary, editing and play.OK, that's going a bit too far. apologies
Now I have had my inevitable moan, thanks for the complements from players and Shogun + Badger, and thanks to the development team for allowing creators to make such games.
I really can't take any credit for this, I am merely a middle man.Originally Posted by apdenton1 Go to original post
