Servers down caused lost track time!!!

I just finished The Greater Crater track with a time 1:14.something and the servers were down when i finished. Now the servers are back up and it still has my old time of 1:17.774 which is garbage. Please fix this issue now. The track time and records should NOT be dependent on servers being online or offline. The times should be recorded locally then sync'd online if servers are up. This is ridiculous. So basically what RedLynx is saying, do not play this game unless our servers are working or its pointless.

    Nevermind

Luckily I just tried it again and got around the same time of 1:14.120 but it's beside the point that the scores are not recorded if UBI Servers are offline.

Unless I am mistaken, this is how it has always been for all Trials games since HD. Medals, challenges, achievements etc. are stored locally but your times are stored on their servers.

I don't know exactly why this is, but I guess it's to prevent cheating. It's probably for the best.

Yes it is pretty pointless to play unless the servers online (which they are 99.99% of the time). Being online makes it much more difficult for people to cheat/mod their bike or their times. So basically the leaderboards would be flooded with crap cheaters and no one would know where they truly rank in the world. It can be a big deal to someone with bad internet, but it's the way Trials always has been and always will be.

Yea you probably arent mistaken, all the trials were probably like that. LOL at scumbag cheaters. It would be funny to watch competitive cheaters try to out cheat one another.
