    LB has been hacked

    Hi Rl/Ubisoft,
I was playing Evo yesterday and noticed about 8 accounts that have hacked the lb's. Please can you remove these? I have reported their accounts on the xbox system.
I know this is not the current game but I still play it all the time and im still trying to improve my times on all tracks.
Its not difficult to see them, 2 of the gt's include the word 'hack', one is top of tracks with times of 0.005, another guy has tried to make it look like he is real but beating wr's by just over 1 second is not going to happen lol.
    Please fix this

Please report the players through Support rather than on the forums.
    Thank you

I looked at your link but ubi have no record of Trials Evolution.
Surely if the ppl hacking the lb's are happy for the world to see their gt's then we can name them? I dont understand all the secrecy surrounding reporting hackers and cheaters.

No secrecy, just no positives to posting them on the forum. As I mentioned earlier, none of the forum staff are able to do anything with the information, and there are enough mistaken or deliberately false cheat and hack accusations (and resulting flame wars) that it's more profitable to keep them completely off the forum rather than try to police them.

If you can't find the game you want in the support games list, just use the "Ask a question" button in your "My Questions" page.

Im confused. Why have a support thread if you guys cant do anything about it?
So you dont wat to police these cheaters as its not profitable? Seriously?? Money money money

I didn't say Ubisoft can't do anything about it, I said forum staff can't directly do anything about it. The community developers will pass the information on to the game admins / dev teams as appropriate but the most direct means of getting the information to the right people is to use the support links.

Additionally, naming suspected cheaters or hackers on the forums has major drawbacks. Often, the suspects are innocent and the apparent mis-behaviour is caused by network, server or game software glitches. When these instances occur we often end up with a flame war on the forum as the accused vehemently defend themselves while the accusers doggedly persist with their accusation. Also, we sometimes get real cheaters trolling the forums by flaunting themselves and taunting the community with their "success". Neither of these situations are desirable and both are more common than any sort of positive outcome from naming names on the forum, hence it's not permitted.

Discussion of cheating / hacking, how to recognise it, what to do about it (report to support) and so forth are welcome, but naming is not to be done on the forum.
