12+ more duplicates posted today. If report a player is the only option, would that suggest that the 'Report Offensive Content' for tracks actually does nothing? Report a Player option doesn't contain a category for spam. Now Arr's got a couple of 'Kill cap..." maps but I voted them down cause they are very bad taste. :/

*** How about instead of limiting the upload count, you just add an option to 'Block Author' that will ignore all tracks created by said author? Unblock their name with a small menu off to the side, or add the feature to the UPlay account settings, & have it take effect when the game logs into Uplay.

I think you can report them for feedback tampering. It's the closest thing that fits and is a violatioon the xbox live terms of service. it is effectively ruining a game for a large number of people.

Personally, I would use the official reporting tools only, if you wish to report someone.

The weekly feed does seem broken (since the start), the only way I find new tracks is to have 4 custom feeds (Beg/Easy/Med/Ext) and scroll through all 15 pages (once sorted by rating) and watch for new dates on the right. Pretty dreadful way to find tracks and I will soon run out of patience. Even the ability to sort by date would be some help, but this has been said in my TC issues/requests thread.

There is a trickle of good tracks but builders I talk to are/have already lost patience with TC and are not releasing. I'm sad to have the impression TC 'changes' will not make patch 1 as bug fixes will dominate.

That's exactly what I was doing last night to try and find some customs, morrillo... it was a pretty obnoxious process.

On topic: I saw those spammed tracks last night... if I see them tonight, I'll be sure to report that user.

I blocked this guy back in Evo and now he spamming the feeds, I would say 1 upload per 24hrs. But like Redlynx I doubt they'll do that for the strong willed players out there that put their heart and soul into something they once loved. So much for listening to a community and making a bigger one.

That won't solve the problem, that's more like turning a blind eye and pretending it doesn't exist.

I think Sebastian's suggestion is the best option. 1 every hour is more than reasonable and is a good enough deterrent without punishing everyone else too much. Besides, once Track Central is overhauled I doubt tracks will disappear as easily anyway so spammers will have an even harder time.

You should add a poll with this thread m8, one for upload times for TC and see what the community wants? Like:

1) 2-4 hours
2) 12 hours
3) 24 hours

Just to get a jist of what we want?
