Yes thats the right way to go about it. just ignore what I said and call me a troll. Sure. Because all of the things i said are untrue

EDIT: i mean you just literally proved all my points as true:

unhelpful: instead of giving valid arguments or helpful suggestions you just call me a troll
ignorant: you still dont see that this is now also a PC game and you still cant admit to yourself that 99.99% of the PCs do run on a keyboard
useless: The tracks you make + the posts you make are useless to the PC community

Wow! When I see a track I cant do or don't want to do, I go on to the next track; plenty of choices out there. If I made a topic for every track I didnt like.....then I don''t thiink I'd have time to play Trials. You need to get over the idea that the world revolves around your idea of the perfect track.

15 minutes after I bought EVO on PC and tried to do it by keyboard, I decided to go buy a $10 controller. For myself, I chose to broaden my horizons and accept other forms of input, like mouse, joystick, touchpad... and hey controllers.
And inb4 someone says "GIT A CONTROLER": No i won't, this is a PC version where the keyboard is the standard
We all devise our own version of Hell, I guess; you are welcome to yours. I think you need to reflect on these though....

As the former second best keyboard player on Evo Gold, and as a person who genuinely likes helping people out, I will do my best to aid you in your situation.

Trials is a game that really came into it's own with HD, designed for Xbox 360. The method of control was the 360 controller, and the game physics and obstacles were designed around it. The level editor allowed for people to push the boundaries of what was possible, generating the "ninja" difficulty. Evo was designed in the same manner, and with the advent of Track Central, ninjas became available for everyone to try their hand at. Evo Gold was an interesting departure from the previous iterations as it had to attempt to manage a number of different methods of control (different varieties of controller in addition to keyboard) in one game. That said, being a port, it was still at its core based around the Xbox 360 controller. Fast forward to fusion, and essentially the same model is in place. It is designed around controller, with keyboard functionality added in on the PC version.

The keyboard is fully capable of completing all tracks that are standard within the game (although with the advent of RedLynx created ninjas after 0-ing the extremes this may not still be the case). The keyboard, if used by a very skilled player, is a control method capable of posting exceedingly good times. However, it lacks primarily one fundamental attribute that allows controller users to ride user created ninja difficulty content: throttle control. This is a necessity to complete, once again I will stress, user created ninja difficulty content.

People have the right to create, and play content that they enjoy. For ConfusedMuscles this constitutes exceedingly difficult tracks that are impossible for 99% (conservative estimate) of the player base, regardless of controller or keyboard. If you do not like this, track central has many other tracks just waiting to be played. There is nothing that says you have to complete everything on TC, in fact, it is likely impossible given the sheer amount of content. In essence, live and let live.

    In conclusion:
    1. Keyboard is not standard, given the reasons above.
    2. Ninjas on a keyboard are likely to be impossible to overcome, a result of reduced fine control of the medium.
    3. People have the right to create and play what they want, even if you dislike the content they produce. There is no reason you have to play it, or like it.
    4. I have read your post. In fact, I have read all of them a number of times in an attempt to provide the most comprehensive answer. I hope I have been helpful.

What a big jerk this Confused guy is.. Creating tracks and sharing them for the PC community to play?

...and he put a wall/obstacle in the track to top it all off!?!?

    Are you kidding me!!??
    .. Are you kidding me?

The nerve of this guy is absolutely astonishing.

I'm emotionally drained and utterly disgusted by this type of behavior Confused.

    You should be ashamed.

I thought as an individual you were better than this.

    Apparently I have thought wrong.

    You make me sick.

it has nothing to do with the track itself and im not creating a thread for every single track. this is just a generalization to all tracks that are simply not possible to finish with a keyboard.

that is simply not true. a pc game is not getting designed for controller usage, ever.

We all have our rights, that doesnt mean we have to intentionally abuse it.

there were HUNDREDS of ninja tracks on the evo gold edition already from which over 60-70% had these steep walls. and without them, they could have been all finished just fine with a keyboard. fact is, that not just 1%-2% of the tracks on track central are ninjas but many more.
