Any way to view the top of the leaderboard

I can view my score but not the top of the leaderboard
Also: Is there a difference between the bikes? I'm using the armadillo because it says the stats are better

yes you can view the leader board of a track by clicking on global. when the leaderboard comes up with your score click the two arrows pointing up next to the stop watch icon right above the times. this will bring you to the top.

as for bikes generally the agile bikes will be the best. the tango and mantis are the first 2 agile bikes and are the ones most people use to get the best times. other bikes, most notably the bronco, are sometimes used to get the best times on a few tracks but almost everywhere the agile bikes are going to be dominant.

On the leaderboard screen with your time there should be a tab to press in the top right which shows your time relative to those around you. Press the arrows at the top of the scroll bar and it will go to the top of the leaderboard.

The Armadillo is the most basic bike but all bikes can be upgraded to make them better (after you unlock them). There are three tiers of tracks and three tiers of bikes. This means you cannot use the Armadillo on Tier 2 tracks and will have to find an equivalent.

I use the Tango and Mantis for Tier 1 and 2. For me it isn't worth wasting coins and parts on upgrading any other bikes but each to their own!

Gotta agree; Tango/Mantis... later maybe Bronco. You can keep the rest.

The only reason I invested anything in the rest is because the slot machine challenges choose your bike for you. . .and those challenges used to sometimes be a lot harder in beta (slot machine challenges now appear to be significantly nerfed). Back then, it was worth it to upgrade the lower 2-3 levels of all bikes just so I wouldnt have to spend gems avoiding a ridiculous slot challenge on an under-powerd bike. Not anymore.
