The update is super close to being finalized, we are just making certain that we introduce no new blocking issues once it is released worldwide. Regarding other things in addition to those mentioned already...
1. Many other crashing situations that are affecting players
2. Improvements to Tier 3 missions (yes, we realize they are overly "grindy" at the moment)
3. Upgrade times should be more reasonable now, especially in the higher end.
4. Lots of other small things that should really improve the overall experience.
Regarding future updates, we are hard at work on those as well (as we will be for a long time!) and while I cannot comment on specifics yet you can be certain to see many more tracks - through slot machine, missions, and a "new" way to unlock stuff. There's also one big new features coming soon that we're really excited for, but I can't give any specifics yet...
