X1 ver has seriously bad screen tearing and bad frame rate

Wow they really rushed out this game, its like they just ported over the PC ver and didnt optimize NOTHING, no 1080p and yet there is still bad screen tearing and sometimes slow down....

Along with the complete BS ubisoft leaderboards that dont even work 90% of the time

Really not impressed, if it didnt come with the season pass included i would have returned to shop and got my money back

I'm not having any issues with the frame rate whatsoever.

Good point.... I don't very often. But I remember Evo had constant frame rate issues as well. With user made tracks.

Yes it certainly does have some ugly tearing in places. Jaggies are also prevalent under certain circumstances. Image quality is generally not as nice as PS4 (and obviously a good PC)...that 900p shows more than one would think. Can't imagine what the 800p pre-patch build looked like :O I'm sure it will be optimised in the future if circumstances permit, but right now who knows if this is even a priority given the amount of work RL still has on their plate.

Users can make tracks that run badly. RedLynx has no way to prevent this. It was the same in Trials Evolution. Every time I download a track that has bad frame rate, I give it thumbs down... Just like I did in Trials Evolution. We will not include tracks with bad frame rate in RedLynx picks. If you want guaranteed quality, check the RexLynx picks. Hopefully we get the first batch of user created tracks there soon. There is a forum thread for suggesting the best user created tracks as RedLynx picks. Post your opinions in this thread and you will help others in finding tracks that are of good quality (and run smoothly without fps issues or tearing). It's a community effort. Participate and it will be easier for all of us to find good tracks.

I can't speak for user created tracks, but my own comments were in relation to RedLynx made single player tracks. One glaring example is Jungle Gymkhana - terrible tearing in several places throughout the track on X1 generally solid on PS4. There are others, but that's a stand out example. PS4 has some minor tearing in places sure, but nothing like X1.

I can confirm D2's observations: have it on XB1 and PS4 as well.

I have the PS4 version and it will stutter every once in a while, but its fairly rare. Especially compared to Evo on the 360.

I really hate to fuel the flame of the console wars but it seems like a trend for MANY cross platform games, the PS4 games always seem to run considerably better than the xb1.
