Did Trials Fusion sell more units than evo within it's first week?

Just wondering if we could get any official word on sales figures?

I'm sure it sold more on the Playstation than Evo did!

I'd like to know how successful it was too. I should imagine that across all platforms it would certainly have outsold Evo in it's first week as Evo was just a one console game at the time.

If RL thinks its a good thing to announce, they will; if not, they wont. Sales figures is such a tenuous thing to define; if they "sold" 2 million to Best Buy but nobody buys it, did they really sell that?

For what its worth, summing the counts of the number of people on leaderboards for XB1, XB360, and PS4 (seen in another topic) would be roughly 400K (could be off by now of course). Not sure if that equates to number SOLD. . .but its not a bad number for the count of people actually playing it (no PC number seen yet)

Just for comparison purposes Trials Evolution sold around 100 000 units on it's first day. (fastest selling xbla title before Minecraft)
It sold above 500.000 units within it's first three weeks of release. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...in-three-weeks
On nov 8th it got 1 million players total. Meaning it needed around 7 months to break that barrier. http://www.redlynx.com/community/blo...e-leaderboards

The last number only takes the Leaderboards into account since there are double accounts however it could have also taken 8 months.

Guys giving current xbox360,one,ps4 and pc numbers are welcome .

Just shy of 30k on the leaderboards for PC. Not bad I guess considering its technically only been out for 4 days now.

Xbox One is currently at 209,000 total players. 360 is around 100k if I remember, And so is PS4. Those are just guesses though, Someone else could give more exact numbers

    Sales on all platforms:
    209.000 Xbox One
    169.000 Playstation 4
    87.000 Xbox 360
    30.000 PC (only 4 days/ released later)
/Compared to 500.000 units within 3 weeks set by Trials Evolution on Xbox 360/

Totals 495.000 units within two weeks. So concluding these numbers Trials Fusion in my thought is going to sell in the range of 1 1/3 - 1 1/2 of it's presuccessor. Redlynx charges double the money compared to last time ,however, considering inflation (in dollars) they charge 38,1 dollars per retail copy. Adding 20% of VAT that comes down to just 30.48 for most countries (at least inside the eu).
If you now think of the retail market which has to get it's share as well you get to around 20-25 bugs, naturally decreasing in time.

So in total I think Redlynx will come out better in overall profit in the range of 1.5 - 1.8 of Trials Evolution but considering the additional workforce needed to manufacture for 4 consoles at once we have to decrease revenue slightly. xbox one, ps4 and pc are very similar operating wise. In my opinion optimizations did not need to vary THAT much. 360 has a different architecture, although being based on directx 9-10, so for this version more effort had to be put into porting. So I guess revenue wise it will boil towards 1.4 when considering that naturally Microsoft got their fair share of profit from xbox live arcade titles as well. (both evo and fusion). Also it needs to be taken into consideration that Redlynx is including the dlcs in the seasonpass so workwise it will effect them.

Just my guesses however. Telling us basically that though they released the game in this state they will have a good and even better revenue stream down the line than with Trials Evolution, which I as a wannabe dev, find a little sad. But naturally I am happy for Redlynx and if people buy their product they deserve the money that is the way it is.

By this logic scammers deserve the money they scam out of people (note, not saying RL are scam artists, It''s a generalization).
People are careless with their money, and a notable % of the population buy products based on what's popular at the time or what is shoved down their throats with marketing. Precisely why quality is hard to find.

^ I'm sure people have bought Trials just from watching well known Youtubers e.g. PewDiePie or KSI, they seem to upload many trials videos so the amount of people that will buy it as all they see is a load of crazy stuff happening instead of what trails really is. Guess with them giving well known Youtubers money to make videos of the game and make it look amazing, combined with the casual side which is FMX, a lot of people will buy it thinking the game is all about FMX and humping the floor while playing impossible stairs etc. I wonder how much RL/Ubi had to pay the Youtubers to make the videos.
