I saw that with all the tutorials that are getting added it was time to start organizing them. I put a few general folders, but I'm sure there are more categories we can put up. BTW, nice binary switch dasraiser.

I don't really understand the music note conversion table, can anyone explain how this works and how it might be implemented in a track?

I believe its a perfect representation of the exact frequencies compared to the oscillator note sounds in the editor when using the pitch variable (tied to a datasource or otherwise) meaning the creation of your own level songs/music is possible.

pretty much. The pitch slider in the editor has no easily understood reference point. That chart IS your reference point, at least for the sounds he mentioned.

I made a 2 bar sequencer to make my own loops/riffs but i did it by ear using the bass sound so its probably a little off, will try upgrading mine using this info when im back to editing (on a bit of a break or family and friends where going to disown me LOL)

Sounds like it's going to take a hell of a lot of logic even for the most basic jingle, I'll be impressed if anyone can get a decent tune out of this.

watched that happen before my eyes, folders just popped up then tutorials started to disappear, nice how google docs syncs with clients.

For all u guys talking about learning global OPE...I have posted a simple setup with global OPE moving a rain effect to follow the rider. I tried to be pretty specific and keep it very easy to follow. Also Luthanick and Web D made the template a little nicer for the collaborators.

Added one about using checkpoints out of order. It's a simplified version, but it works and gets the idea across. I had a real headache with this on Project Spin because there were so many different paths to different checkpoints and some checkpoints would become active again once you reset. My advice for this one is to use it when you won't go past the older checkpoints again. Otherwise it will need more logic to prevent unwanted resets.

Anyone have a tutorial that uses Random Data Sources? Unless I missed it, we don't have any that use those yet.
