@redlynx: You cant get Platinum on this with the Keyboard ! its impossible and a huge Game-design fail, you rly need to fix this.

I tryed getting Platinum on this for half an hour with the keyboard and the best i got was a 125.6.

After that i swapped to the controller, the result was a 144.264 at my second try.

The Problem is the Direction of the Key- Movements. Even by pressing up and left all the time, you are going down a lot faster, than you do on the controller. That is such a huge fail on your side, designing a game for Pc and not making sure that everything is possible on the keyboard, which alot of Pc- Players are going to use.

The highest possible Range on a keyboard is a 125-127 meters and you need to either change the Platinum rank to a 125, or change the Direction of the keys for this specific skill-game.

i experienced the same problem on icarus factor in evo gold. utterly impossible for me to get much past gold on keyboard, and demolished the platinum standard first or second try with controller

Ibubbil (thomas) has completed like lvl 3 ninjas with keys, so if i can not do this then it is simply not possible.

the problem is that, from my understanding, up is gas.
So in terms of controlling the trajectory of your bailout, up does nothing.on keyboard.

Up makes a difference.

But the direction of up and left is still not the pick of this skill- game. You go down way faster, than you would on the Controller.

I know there are some hardcore players that play using the D-pads and with the keyboard. But I never thought about how that would affect gameplay. Is this game really suited for keyboards? I am finding myself doing very strange moves with the stick (rotational moves) and feathering the triggers for throttle and breaks, things I would never be able to do with a keyboard.

What are you saying? Does the throttle go faster with the keyboard? That would be an insane bug!

This is my Personal best on the keyboard:

As you can see, i get a pretty good jump, but i am more falling than flying.

On the Controller you can move to the stick to like 75 degrees, which makes you glide (just look at the top replays, they aren't loosing any height for the first 120 meters just because of this).

On the keyboard, the best you can do is pressing the up and the right arrow at the same time. Thats äquivalent to a 50 Degrees Stick movement ( i guess its something like 50 Degrees) and this makes you fly down instead of gliding through the air.

And this is why anything better than a 127 is impossible on the keyboard.

No one here has even remotely hinted that anyone playing with keyboard has an advantage in any aspect of the game lol, exact opposite.
