    Not impressed with skill games

Just completed fusion and i am really displeased with the skill games. From trials hds breaking bones and hill climb and ski jump, were so addictive and amazing and trials evos sphere game. It offered a good replay factor. Now with fusion I find the skill games so so poor. The only decent skill game imo is the one where you bailout.

Please add better skill games with next dlc. Please please.

There are many additional mini skill games hidden in the levels. Some of those remakes of the old HD and EVO skill games.

Those are the worst imo. I like infinite Trials, the wheelie one and FMX could be considered a skill game. This in addition to the hidden ones means skill games are more present in the SP than ever before, no?

    really surprised at this

the bone break skill game from HD was by far my least favourite, and was totally RNG and silly in gold edition. hill climb in fusion is more similar to the one from evo DLC, and is way better than the HD one. ski jump is still there lol, just renamed big air. in addition to these you have balancing act, which I find surprisingly fun, krank (with i think is a bit silly, but w/e), trick master, which is a brilliant use of FMX, however glitchy, triathlon, hard wheeling (so good) and infinite trials, which is fantastic other than a couple of impossible jumps at the very highest levels

fusion skill games certainly stand up to HD and evo skill games, and beat the pants off them in certain areas

Its beyond me why they didnt include the Flip Flop tracks as actual skill games on Fusion. That is by far, the best near-trials related skill game as well as the most innovative. Hell, they even left out Control which i found to be originally fun, if you're a speedrunner. What happened to Outside the Ball btw? The only respectable skill games i see on Fusion are the wheelie, hill climb, and infinite trials. Everything else is just "Ma, look at me fly!"

As long as they stopped acting as a crutch to ranking up global leaderboards, its all a moot point to me. Would still have been nice to see something new in the mix.

Even Infinite Trials lack the consitency and fairness it needs for a roguelike skill game.

There is that one obstacle where you climb up quite a bit and then have to do a huge drop down.
They didn't even bother customising the camera so that you could see below you when you re about to drop and have an idea where the game wants you to land.

Im sure there are more, but that one was good enough for me

    So sloppy and frustrating

I really dislike the bailout skill games, in evo as well.
I don't think the skill games are that bad really, though they're not all that original.

I like the hill climb the most, I like infinite trials but the one from Evo is better in my opinion.

Agreed the changes they made from Neverending Trials -> Infinite Trials made it a lot less fun, which is a shame cos I spent a lot of time on NT in evo :/ Shoulda kept it simple.

And I think the skill game selection in Fusion is one of the few things it has done better than HD & Evo - I'm not interested in mini games or throwing myself off the bike, I want skillful bike related challenges. The hill climb is brilliant imo, I also like the wheelie game and the Triathlon is a cool idea aswell. I'm sure more variety (gimmicky mini games) will be put into the dlc packs though.

Balancing Act- Really good in terms of the difficulty and how it progresses

Big Air- Gimmicky/stupid, but it does what it needs to do, and because of that it's fine

Krank- I like the look of it, and also the progression of difficulty, although there should be more points where it's critical to do tricks (even though I hate them)

Trick Master- Love it, perfect for FMX

Triathlon- seems incomplete, a lot more definitely could have been done to this, or it should have been completely re-imagined

Ice Climb- This is fine, but it takes a big difficulty spike, and it has an inconsistent jump around this point which is only hard because it's hard to judge how to hit it, other than that, eh...one in evo was better, despite the large difficulty spike near the end/abrupt end

Hard Wheeling- Kind of the exact kind of frieken skillgame that's in HD, would of been cool to see a front wheel one. And it annoys me how people can brake, and then once they gain stability, back wheel again, seems stupid, idk how they could of fixed it, but obviously it's laziness

Infinite Trials- The evo skill game was pure awesomeness, this one is horrible, the parts are bright neon which makes it hard to see the outline, hard to judge where to spiderman as well as just land on it safely. Also, there are several obstacles where you can't see below you making it super hard to judge where to land correctly...overall the obstacles are weirdly simple and kind of ******ed (no offence), as well as this, the difficulty definitely progresses in a pattern, 10, 20 etc, but they progress weirdly for some reason. And to top it off, tr good grief has uploaded an impossible jump onto youtube...did anyone manage to test them?

Overall, the skill games aren't too bad, a few mishaps here and there, a bit of laziness, and due to this; re-iteration, and a bit of imagination could have been used.

I was playing the infinite trials and I failed at a certain object, when I tried it again with my 2nd 'life' half of the object was gone so it was impossible to get past
