    Game runs at half speed

In the menus trials runs fine but as soon as I start racing the game speed drops to about 50%. I've changed all the settings to as low as they'll go and changed my resolution to the minimum available but it seems to have no effect. Is this a known bug or does anyone know a way to solve it as it is becoming increasingly frustrating.
    Thanks

    Hello,

Please give us your hardware configuration and which graphic settings you're using.

    Thank you.

You can turn on the framerate in video settings, if you are below 60fps, the game will run in slowmotion. But they are working on that issue

As a workaround we suggest reducing the graphics quality settings until your PC runs the game smoothly at 60 fps until the fix has been deployed.

That's not the only problem here, my game ran fine (60Hz) the last two days and now it runs like crap on low settings. I don't know what's up, I didn't change anything. There are programs running in the background like iTunes and Steam but it was the same on Thursday and yesterday.
I have an i5 4570, NVidia GeForce GTX 760 and 16GB RAM so there shouldn't be anything holding the game back.

Edit: Never mind, it's running fine on highest settings again after a fresh boot. Whatever that was, I hope it's gone for good.

    Regards,
Can't speak of the OP's specific problem but the issue of game speed being tied to FPS is definitely NOT solved.
