"Maximum amount of physics objects has exceeded in this area" inconvenience/bug (?)

So... I am building a track that contains a fair amount of static objects in both the foreground and the background. After a while, a notification saying "maximum amount of physics objects has exceeded in this area - some objects do not have physical bodies and can be driven through". Fair enough, I thought, and started trying to optimize the track by setting all active objects that don't interfere with the driving line to "decoration only".

    However
, despite this sort of optimization the notification stays on the screen, which is kinda bothersome and makes me wonder if it is supposed to work like this. I have not encountered any problems while playing the track and everything that is supposed to be solid remains solid, but the alert is still there on the screen as long as I am in the editor mode.

Here's a screenshot depicting my track (bonus points if you recognize it!) as well as the error:

What can I do to make this alert go away? Is there something crucial I am missing? Keep in mind that 95% of everything on the screen is set to "decoration only" which I feel *should* fix it, but it doesn't.

This is on the PC version if that matters.

I think I've had messages like this in Evo. Does this message persist, or does it tend to go away after a short while?

I suspect you can just disregard it though.

It only goes away if I move the camera so that the objects are outside of the render distance, otherwise it persists. I'll ignore it and see if anything happens... Hopefully the track won't break and objects on the drive line won't lose their physical properties.

It's just to inform you that if you enable the physics in the editor in that particular view, some of the physics might not work as intended because the view has so many physics objects and it's better to move closer. This doesn't affect or change anything in the track.

Ah, that makes sense, cool. Good to know that it doesn't mean my track will mess up

I have had the same error and unfortunately it is affecting my track since when the rider enters the are he just falls straight through the ground Any ideas what causes this or how to rectify it, I can't imagine I actually have too many physics objects. It started after I put a load of separate pieces together to make something and glued them together. Then I used a single axis rotational hinge between it and a dummy object and added a force targeted at the rider. The purpose being to make my new object rotate to face the rider as he drives past. It works when I activate physics but when I test I literally fall through the floor. Any ideas?

If you move the camera (as Mutetus said) it changes what the editor sees and what it thinks you are trying to do. For example, if you look down the length of your track, it will no doubt give you several warning messages, too many physics onjects, too many lights, etc, etc. But if you then align the editor camera with the "game camera" you will no doubt see those messages disappear. As in THAT view (the view used when riding the track) you aren't viewing the whole track, only a segment at a time.

Unfortunately this is with the ingame camera since when I test the track the rider falls straight through the floor, it isn't even an object just the desert floor.

P.s. is there any way to not have to do the Image verification with every post here lol?

It eventually goes away after a handful of posts. I think it was 10 or so for me iirc.
